A Book about John and Paul
There have been hundreds of books about the Beatles, dozens about John Lennon and dozens about paul McCartney, but has anyone ever written a book about John and Paul? About their relationship and how they shaped popular culture as well as music.
It would be a fascinating storey to focus on and without being detremental to George and Ringo it is the relationship between J&P as songwriters, friends and mutual motivators that is the most fascinating.
Authors are either obsessed with John Lennon as some sort of God like figure or with trying to prove that Paul was his equal (which he was) in order to balance the books.
I mean I see someone has written a book about Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams for God's sake, so when are we going to get a book about the 20th centuries greatest song writing team?

The closest I can think of is a book called The Day John Met Paul: An Hour-by-Hour Account of How the Beatles Began.

That does sound like an interesting topic. Though maybe it would be hard to fill a book about it without going too much into speculation?

this person is attempting to do it. This article may be a clue as to what the finished product will be like. the author has an interest in creative teams and John/Paul are one he's dove into.
