Surprise,Surprise
In the sixties this lady was at home watching the Beatles' cartoon series on TV when she was shocked to suddenly hear the Beatles singing a song she knew very well and for a very good reason - she'd sung on the original version!
What's the lady's name and what's the original title of the song?

It could, but you need to give a full answer - in this instance the song plus the singer.

Carolyn Crawford -Devil In HIS Heart
(The Beatles version was "Her", Carolyn's was "His")

Well, Devil in his Heart by The Donays. Armie Guinn was billed as the lead singer but it was actually Yvonne Singleton who sang on the recording. However, it was Armie who's the lady watching the Beatles cartoon so I'll say
Armie Guinn - Devil in his Heart

“Unfortunately we never received any royalties for the song that was released on the Beatles album,” Janice concludes. “We didn’t even know they recorded the song until one morning my sister Armie and I were watching the Beatles’ cartoons on television and heard our song ‘Devil In His (Her) Heart.’ Boy were we shocked!” - Janice Quinn
But okay then,
Janice Quinn - Devil in his Heart

Then I haven't a clue. Yvonne's already guessed, besides, she's not the one that watched the cartoon anyway.

Instead of the stage name, lets try the real name.

No fully correct answer as yet.
And yet, amazingly, anyone attentively reading the different posts could now give the right answer.
