OH MY God!!! I watched it and my first instinct was spoof, but unless my mind is playing tricks he has the same mannerisms at Dhani. Mega weird.

Another thing has struck me is that I automatically assumed he was conceived during the height of Beatlemania when they must have shagged millions of girls but he looks about 30ish therefore it would have been early to mid 70's.

Is there proof to support this claim?

I watched the video and listened to the interview.
Bowvayne could be George's son. He certainly has
some, if this is true what looks to me like paternal
traits.

Nice hair. Talented. Similar
ectomorphic body build. Hand/arm movements.
I don't think this is the power of suggestion -
there really just might be something in this
after all.

Our own beloved Brazilian Flag has a story in this month's issue of Rooftop Sessions about a man who learns that he might be George's son. It's an excellent story and coming across this uncovered treasure by Bowvayne made me think of Flag's story.

I agree. He's very pleasant; friendly and approachable.

If Bowvayne is George's son, then George was blessed with a bonus son.

I like the straighforward, self-accepting way he answered the questions. He impresses me as being a level person.

After hearing Bowvayne speak, I can't help thinking that there could be something to this after all...he really does give a good interview and he sounds so accepting and fair minded.

For some reason, I can't help thinking, if true, the song "Here Comes the Son" would fit the occasion. (A few years ago, my church used that song with Son instead of Sun and, since 2003, the Monday Night Prayer Group has been using this very song, the Here Comes the Sun we all know and love).

Holy Eccle cakes, BB! You've nailed it! (and thanks for the promotion, btw )

I've heard Bowvayne's interview and he did sound George-ish in a way - not the looks, rather the calm way he expressed himself. If it's a spoof, it's really a professional one!

Wherever his roots lay, he sounds most certainly like a good, fair-minded person in my opinion!

"Following in Dad’s footsteps Bowvayne has formed a band with several other Aussie guys and is hoping for chart success with their single ‘Hot for You’ from their album ‘Molten.’"

Unfortunately, because of this you can't help but think that it could be a rather twisted publicity stunt...

I kind of suspect the same. Yes, he seems nice...but why has he not been told George's response? The 'go between' for them is not revealing George's response...which seems a bit fishy to me.

Lorraine,

Good point about this possibly being a fish tale. I agree, Bowvayne seems like a very nice person and he interviews well. He is most gracious and one does wonder why he was not informed of George's alleged response. Whoever the go between is, if there IS indeed truth to this story is probably protecting George, Olivia, Dhani and other close Arias and Harrison relatives and serving as an emissary to Bowvayne.

Since I don't know if the story is true, I will not judge. Maybe it IS a publicity stunt and if it is, then it is a twisted one at that. However, I can't help but think that perhaps there might be something in this story.

Flag,

What are Eccle cakes?

I can't hear the interview because there is something wrong with my soundcard, so I can't comment on that.

I have heard of this guy before, but I've never really read up on him. If there is any truth in it, then so be it. I
