Roger - go to the "What Goes On" forum - there's plenty of discussion there on George's condition.

I've just sent the following prayer to the wall...

A Prayer for George Harrison. A prayer to give him all the strength that God can give him to pull through the latest tragedy in his life. A prayer to cure. A prayer to help him continue to produce the things that makes the world happy. Music, love and smiles. That's George to a tee.

Harb, I really like your prayer, I am not at all religious, but I know that George is a very spiritual being, and I hope he can feel the outpouring of love all around for him. And lets not forget Olivia and Dhani as well as his family, I hope that Louise reads these posts, I have had many conversations with her over the net, and would like her to know that we think of her and all the Harrison family at a dificult time such as this. Also, Paul & Ringo must be very concerned, lets not forget them too.

Love is all......

God, please bless George and help him use the tools he needs to face this latest challenge. Please may he not suffer and may he remain in the company of his closest loved ones. May the quality of his life be good; may he always keep You part of it. You gave George the gifts of music; he in turn used those gifts to improve and influence the world for the better. He sought spirituality and it shone through like a beacon in his work. You helped George find his voice and creative outlets.

Please bless Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. May they continue to be nuturing, healthy influences on George and may Sir Paul's good example of respecting George's privacy be followed. Please bless these talented men, God. You gave them so much and they in turn gave back to the world.

God, please bless George. He needs You now more than ever.

Amen

Harb, your prayer is lovely. Very moving, very beautiful, very heartfelt. I sent some more prayers to the Wall myself just now, too...

No one is ever truly ready to lose someone but it helps knowing that there are people feeling the same way you do.. someone who loves the Beatles as much and understands what you're going through. that's why Beatles fans are the best.

I cried when I read the latest article on George. I think, although it's hard, we need to stay happy and positive for George. No matter what happens, he will always be the great person that he is and will never be forgotten.

Well, after all what we've heard, false statements and declarations, false quotings, George Martin never saying anything to the press, worrying news about George's health... The only thing that's left to all of us is keep praying.

(BTW, HMVNipper, the quote you posted had a little problem, that's the only reason why I edited it. Hope you won't mind, I'm quite obssesive. )

Huh? What was wrong with it? I mean, I don't mind that you edited something, but I can't figure out what you did! Was it something I said (in which case, I'm sorry if I said something inappropriate), or was it the way I quoted Harb's post? I'm confused...

Actually it was just a little problem with the [/b] symbol... Nothing else was changed... It's just it didn't look good... Sorry again.

HMVNipper,

I want to thank you for posting that link to the Western Wall. I tried it today and it worked.

Your input has been especially appreciated and I for one want to thank you. Beatle People really do Come Together at times like this and I am truly grateful for places and people here. In my life, I've loved them all.

I agree, George must be feeling better because of all the love and prayers from all his fans!

Someone did something special for me and a couple of friends yesterday -- instead of us e-mailing a prayer to the Wall, my friend sent one to her friend who lives in Israel, and her daughter took it and placed it in the Wall for us yesterday (fortunately, LONG before the problems that occurred there late in the day). I can't help but feel comforted yet again!

And you are most welcome, BB, for the link...I'm glad people used it!
