Default Mono Album Covers

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to know if anybody could point me into the direction of some HQ scans of the jackets of the Mono CDs, so I can attach it to the music files I've created? If not, is there someone willing to make a HQ scan of each of them?

biglou... I am pretty sure that some excellent quality images were posted to this forum a short time ago. If you can't find that post/link, let me know... I think I still have them somewhere on my drive.

Whoops! Sorry... all I have (all that was posted a while back) are the stereo jackets images.

Not sure if these will work or not. You have to click on the links to the albums to get to them.

I've pretty much "made" artwork for most of the albums (first four downloaded HQ art from original CDs and for most of the rest I just cropped out the banner on the left.) Although for help I did a composite of a scan of the Ebbetts artwork (mostly to get the work mono) and the stereo CD's art minus the banner.

All I really need now is artwork for the Mono Masters.

i have a question - just got the Beatles Mono box and the single disk albums have the fold tabs on the outside of the backcover instead of the inside like a normal LP- is this as intended? It looks odd.

This was normal when these albums were originally released in the U.K.
So these are faithfull reproductions of how these albums looked in the 60's.

Yes as I sat sipping cocktails last night wallowing in Mono bliss, it was apparent that this was intended. Thats really interesting. Thanks for the info.

Mono LPS had the flaps OUT, stereo albums had the flaps IN. That's how you could instantly tell them apart in the shops. So this box set is just EXACTLY like the original mono albums! Great!

In time I think all of the remasters will show up on this website.

http://www.bootlegzone.com

They have a huge section on the Beatles

Default Regarding the flaps outside on covers

Wow, very happy to hear this is an intentional part of packaging design. Impressive really.
Me and my wife did consider this the case but I had to come here to find out.

Reading some Amazon reports suggests the Stereo set may have issues of gobs of glue on CD surfaces, but I'm yet to receive this set to verify anything like this.

Very happy with Mono set so far though.
I'm going through in order and stopped tonight after the mono mix of Help!
Has been great so far, and it will only get better with Pepper and White album.

(The reason for looking at Amazon reports is due to me ordering from them.
Took forever! Mono set arrived 4 days ago, Stereo set still not here, ordered on 13 Sep! arggh, loooong wait for something you just can't wait for.)

What really impressed me with the Mono Box covers was not only that they designed them to look like the originals, but that they used accurate materials as well. The UK releases use the posterboard material, while MMT, released in the US originally, correctly uses the thicker cardboard.
