In this case, I choose If I Needed Someone as recently I was very memorable of his melody.
PS In general, it was necessary to arrange this poll so as to select some of the best songs of George.
PPS All are good in their own way.

It is not easy, it depends on the day I may go for If I needed someone or Within you without you. I absolutely love ALL Beatle songs written by George ( whilst I do not absolutely love all the Len-Mac ones, but that's logical as they are far much more). Anyway, just to choose one i'll go for If I needed someone as it's older and therefore he wrote it younger, which adds more merit

My voice is for "Got My Mind Set On You" as George's post-beatles song.

Don't Bother Me
For You Blue
I Me Mine
I Need You
I Want To Tell You (my personal favorite Beatle song by George)
If I Needed Someone
It's All Too Much
Old Brown Shoe
Only A Northern Song
Piggies
Taxman
The Inner Light
Think For Yourself
Within You Without You
You Like Me Too Much
George's sexy voice on his cover of John's "Do You Want to Know a Secret" and I just LOVE "I'm Happy Just to Dance With You," which George made into his song!

On the other hand... since George had relatively few Beatles songs, and he didn't start getting really good at writing until 1966-ish, it's not that hard to pick a favorite or two from him.
Post-Beatles George? Yeah, that's a tall order.

good point, but i believe that George's music speaks for itself. so many of those songs just leave me on the floor, so, as i said, it's impossible to choose.

So, to make things a little bit more interesting, the question is: excluding the songs mentioned above wich Beatles song composed by George you like the most?
And those are:

Don't Bother Me
For You Blue
I Me Mine
I Need You
I Want To Tell You
If I Needed Someone
It's All Too Much
Long, Long, Long
Love You To
Old Brown Shoe
Only A Northern Song
Piggies
Savoy Truffle
Taxman
The Inner Light
Think For Yourself
Within You Without You

Definitely Savoy Truffle. I think that song is severely underrated.

Well, besides the three "big ones", I have a hard time choosing between I Want To Tell You, Savoy Truffle and I Me Mine. Hmm, maybe I'll go with Savoy Truffle. I love the saxophones on it. :)

I want to revise my choice. I've been listening to Revolver like crazy lately, and I'm lovin' I Want to Tell You.

Old Brown Shoe would be my number one. The song's like an addiction for me.
And the silver medal goes to, "Within You Within You".

The reason why it's so hard to pick a single favourite "other" George song is because they are so disparate.
There's almost no connection at all between a song like 'Taxman' and 'Love You To' but each of them has enormous merit.
The degree to which I enjoy either one just depends on what mood I'm in.
WYWY truly is a substantial piece which demands attentive listening to appreciate its quality - it's hardly pop music at all and it was one of the most musically and lyrically ambitious tracks that the Beatles had ever attempted at that time.
(Similarly, 'It's All Too Much', 'Love You To' and 'The Inner Light' are very adventurous pieces that don't seem to have been aimed at the mainstream at all.)
The two that I most enjoy playing myself on either guitar or piano are 'I Me Mine' and 'Taxman' so I'll give the nod to 'IMM' because it is entirely George's own work whereas John made a few uncredited contributions to 'Taxman'.
But in all honesty, I think George's solo work is far, far superior to most of his Beatles output (with the obvious three exceptions.) 'Blow Away', 'Give Me Love', 'Learning How To Love You', 'Your Love Is Forever', 'When We Was Fab', 'Any Road', 'Isn't It A Pity?', 'What Is Life?', 'Be Here Now' -- I'd far rather listen to any of these than most of his Beatles songs.
