I have them all in a large cupboard (or - if you are a Real Estate agent - a "Compact and Bijou room" )

Here's a couple of acoustics...

On te left - is my 1967 Gibson J-45 - looks a bit like the J-165E acoustics that J&G used - and I used it to take those parts....

It's a bit tatty, but then... so is its owner...

Also: the one in the middle is my J-185...my fave guitar.

On the right, is a 1969 Gibson J-200.
The Fabs (mainly George) used a sunburst one extensively , from 1968 onwards. This one was custom built for Someone Famous! (who is it? who is it?) My lips are sealed**

[say nothing, Karla!!!!!]

(**mainly for insurance purposes!)

The sunburst J-200 is one of the guitars in my list of guitars-I'll-have-some-day! I've always loved it, but now I see that black model of yours I must say it's quite elegant. It might displace the sunburst in the list... Although I'll have plenty of time to think it over before I get the money to buy another guitar!

Now that I see that Vox amp, I'd like to ask a question, in case any of you knows. Some time ago I saw someone using a very small Vox amp, almost a toy, but in my opinion it sounded really good, much better than other amps of a similar size I've seen. The longest measurement (width) was about 20 cm (less than 8 inches). Does anyone know what model I'm talking about? In Vox's web site, the smallest amp I've seen is the DA5, but it's too big, and isn't the one I saw, for sure (it's square, not rectangular). I wonder whether it's a discontinued model, or whether I've simply been unable to find it.

Yes, it must be that (although I seemed to recall it was a bit smaller). It's a pity it was discontinued. The owner of the amp I saw had had it for a short time, but I suppose it was second-hand. I suppose I'll have to make do with one of the other models I've seen, even though I don't like their sound as much.

Why do I like all versions of this bass so much?

(First post after a long time. My access to an internet connection is not so steady now.)

Thanks. From left to right:
A 1986 Rickenbacker 350 Liverpool which has been modified with vintage scatterwound 7.4 ohm Toaster Pickups, an Accent Vibrato and Vintage Style knobs.
A Lennon Limited Edition '65 Casino #89 of 1965
A 1999 Gibson J-160e
A 1966 Hofner 500-1 Bass
A custom Stratocaster that I assembled myself from genuine Fender parts. The neck is a B. Hefner who is authorized to make necks for Fender. It is an exact replica of the neck on Clapton's Blackie. The body is from a Mexican Strat and has a custom Filp Flop paint paintjob that I did myself.
The PUPs are Fender Vintage noiseless. The hardware is from a old Strat that was destroyed except for the tuners which are new Klusons.

I also have this:

Hi everybody!!

I'm from Spain and this is my second message here. Please, excuse my poor English language...

I have many instruments, but 2 Beatle instruments: my Höfner 'violín'. from 1974, and my Ramírez 'George Harrison', from 2005. How could I upload here photos of my instruments?? Thank you in advance!!

BTW: I gave a conference at Ramírez Guitars workshop in Madrid recently with the topic Beatles Spanish Guitars. I have been working in this subject for a long time and I have collected many sources but the subject is still far from finished.

If you know of pictures and/or any kind of information of The Beatles playing and/or holding any Spanish guitar, please let me know...

The only known Ramírez guitar so far known in any of The Beatles hands is the one played by George in 'And I Love Her' sequence for A Hard Day's Night, where the blue round label of Ramírez 'instrumentos para rondalla' is clearly seen.

I have found more info regarding this guitar, but I still need more information. That is why I ask for your help...

Best!!

Default VINTAGE PREMIER DUROPLASTIC DRUM KIT

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....STRK:MESELX:IT

Premier Duroplastic, often called a Ringo kit because that's what Ringo used when the Beatles played at the Cavern before he changed to Ludwig.

very rare Premier kit . All my research shows that the kit was made approx. 1962 . As you can tell by the photos ( taken today ) the kit comes complete with it’s original cymbal set .

PAISTE FORMULA 602’s ( which are also no longer made ) .

14” Hats .

18” Crash and

20“ Ride . ( Sabian Pro splash is a bonus )

12” Tom .

16 ¼” Floor Tom .

22 by 16” Kick .

The hats stand and hardware is Ludwig brand and the kick pedal is the original PREMIER pedal . Kit comes with the cow bell , wood block and two different spare kick drum beaters and one of those cymbal sizzler add on. There is absolutely nothing missing and all is in it’s original, mint condition .

I purchased this kit 14 years ago from the original owner’s wife, ( the drummer had passed on ) and I have had it in storage since then.

[quote=El Gos Coix;710389]I don't have a pic of all my instruments together (I'll take it some day), so I'll post one of each.

First, my piano, bought in 1916 by my great-grandmother (well, it's officially my mother's, although nowadays I'm the only one who plays it):

Wow. What a beauty.
