Mono Box Set
I finally picked up my Mono Box set! Yay!
I'm glad to see it includes the original stereo mixs for Help and Rubber Soul.

Am I missing something? The OP is talking about the mono box and Badgirl66 posts a picture of their stereo box? I don't get it :P

I don't either. I'm loving the Mono set so far. I think I prefer (generally speaking) the stereo recordings.
I'm only up to Hard Days Night.

Is the Tomorrow Never Knows version on the remastered mono Revolver the longer rarer version that was only released on the 1st press original vinyl?

Nobody has answered your question, Colonel Angus. I'll see if I can't find the answer in the next day or so. My guess is that the standard version (Remix 8) is the one included rather than the rarer 1st pressing version (Remix 11) --- just a guess.
Regards,
Michael

The Mono Box version of Tomorrow Never Knows is timed at 2:58.
It is the more common second version.

Thanks, Blackguard. I guess the original press version is still yet to be re-released in any format.

Yes, Dr. Ebbetts' Archive Series Revolver is a first pressing which has the uncommon version.

I've not been exposed to this myself but I have read about fake copies that were being sold. Can't find the postings now, they had details on how you can see wheter a copy was a fake.

The Dr. has also released the Revolver mono matrix I version before. Purple Chick uses that version for their set.

I like it too.... but I miss Ringo's "I've got blisters on my fingers." I wonder why that line isn't on the Mono version...
