I'm getting Mono from Amazon!  Check your inbox.Amazon sent me a shipping notice for the mono box set yesterday.I ordered on September 11.I hope everybody else got a notice as well. |

I got my mono set from Amazon today and was so excited that when I was opening the package I accidentally cut my hand. Now I'm afraid to take it out of the shrinkwrap for fear of getting a blood smear on it.
This is a bittersweet feeling.

Well in a strange way, it's better your hand the the packaging and the discs. After waiting that long and partly destroying it would be terrible. At least the cut on your hand will heal, the packaging would not.

Exactly. I have an extra hand but there's no way I could afford another mono box. It was my left hand too, so even if I lost it, I'd still be able to jack...in case I needed to fix my car.

Be careful when opening them!
Amazon have the Mono Box Sets in stock now, and they will have the Stereo Box Sets back in stock on October 31st.

I have my mono box (which is awesome!) the stereo box is supposed to arrive nov.5th, but it hasn't even shipped yet. We shall see. I am grateful just to be able to afford the box sets and have them.

I ordered my Stereo box set from Amazon at the end of Oct. and it took about 2-3 weeks before it arrived last Thursday. All of my CDs and their cases were in perfect condition and had no glue residue transfer over from the digi-packs.

Just noticed for UK Beatles fans, amazon.co.uk have the box set at £157. It's getting cheaper!!

Update:Amazon.com has slashed its prices off all Beatles albums to get them below the price of what Apple iTunes is charging. Amazon was charging $154.99 for The Beatles Stereo Box Set when iTunes launched the catalogue. But within hours, Amazon slashed its price for the same item to $129.99, which is $20 less than iTunes.
