I do think this topic needs to be closed. We already have a similiar one in And Your Bird Can Sing.

BTW, AmandaLennon, what gives with reposting a prior response. Replies #11 @ 2:58 PM & #15 @ 4:49 PM say the exact same thing, word for word. What gives?

My least favorite has to be "A Taste Of Honey" because it's easily their worst arrangement of a song that was already bad before they recorded it... But it wasn't a Len/Mac original... The prize there has to go to "Hold Me Tight" and maybe some others from the first albums where they were just experimenting with things... I guess we can forgive them those.

So yes, they don't have bad songs.

The Long and Winding Bore! LOL! Hey, 4thGenFan, that's great! Incidentally, I happen to agree. That is absolutely my LEAST fave...but I also agree with everyone else that there's really no such thing as a "bad" Beatles song. And how come Revolution 9 is not a song? I thought it was?!

HeyBeatle, I love your oxymoron, "MicroSoft Works!" That one made me SO HARD!

Just thought I'd post this before it flies over to "And Your Bird Can Sing."

I like a lot some of the McCartney melodies that several seem to dislike. Yesterday, Michelle, I'll follow the Sun are Paul at his saccharine best. Beautiful melodies and voice.

Postman, Honey, are not Beatle songs.

I do agree that Hold Me Tight, and The Word, ar just not good songs. they should have given George more of a chance back then instead of these.

Harb is the moderator in this forum. I co-moderator And Your Bird Can Sing with jtal909. If this topic were there, I could. In fact, since this topic is about songs, that's where it should be anyway.

For me, I also don't like "Yesterday", "Long & Winding Road", and I really don't care for "Michelle"...not picking on Paul, as he also has written many of my top, top faves as well...

OMG! I believe you and & have this common 4thGen! We are of an itty bitty minority. But "Yesterday" is just soooooooo depressing! It's Paul at his best whining! Least fave movie would have to be "Let It Be". Yes, let those grumpy guys be, indeed!

I love Yesterday. Just for saying something other than you there....)
I hate, really hate, "Dizzy Miss Lizzy". OK, it's not written by the Beatles but anyway.
