Hey Jude 3:25 edited version on hip pocket format!!
There are rare beatles records that are on hip pocket record format ( they were these very small records in the 60's that were flexible and you had to play them on this little player, They were a flop but are now a rare collectors items )
for more info

Can someone anyone know where I could find the 3:25 edited version of hey jude to download. in mp3 format if anything .I've never heard it & I would love to see how & when it fades or does it just stop when the needle runs out of grooves?
An offer if not available online yet.
You could now play them on a modern record player ( Because I have played my Doors break on through hip pocket) if the arm does not stop at a certain distance when it gets close to the label of a regular 33 lp or the center of the turntable.
So If anyone out there has a copy of hey Jude on hip pocket format , I will give you money just so I could have an audio copy of it & I will not repost it or add to a blog or anything If you don't wish.
any help with this & I would be absolutely grateful. thank you -Roger

I'm pretty sure it's just the first 3:25 of the song before the singalong commences.

I might have it on a bootleg, if I haven't given it away.
When I still have it, and no-one beats me to it, I can post an mp3 file of it.

The good thing is I still have the bootleg,
the bad is that it claims to include the short edit that was on the 20 greatest hits album.
At over 5 minutes it's not the same.

Obviously you don't want it ;-)
To have your collection complete perhaps.
The version I have is just an early fade out,
one can easily re-create that yourself.

thank you legs!
Hi Legs!
Yes I do want that one too. I didn't know there was another edited version of that song on the 20 greatest hits album.
Sorry I didn't reply faster I was @ work.
can you please post it on here or can you or do you know where I could find that album on zip file?
or if you want to email me it that would be great. i'll give you my hotmail if you want it.
to Reverend Rock
I want the edited versions of hey jude or any other beatles song because I am an audiophile who loves oddities and I love to hear compare edited and non edited versions of songs.
what really got me interested in such a thing was The doors light my fire ( the single & the album version) because I always found it interesting where in the song they wanted to either cut it & make it shorter or when they chose to either fade the song out for radio release esp. in the 60's.
another great song that was edited that I love is Crimson& clover by tommy james .
