getting ink done
Hey, I dig the back piece. I'm pretty new not only at this site but at tattoos as well. I am going Saturday to get a simple "Let It Be" tattoo across my heart on my chest. Currently I'm looking for a good font or simple design with those words. There is a font called Bootle. Anyone know of any others?

Those fonts are pretty cool. Yes this is my first tattoo. I've been waiting a long time to muster up the strength to do it. It is time. To be sure, there will be pictures of my new ink shortly upon completion. I'm going with my friend who is a pro at this but does anyone have any helpfull hints?

I just got mine almost three weeks ago, and please please please make sure you go to a clean studio...They will put the stencil on first and if you are not happy dont hesitate to tell them you dont like it. People always told me bigger was better and that is definatly true. When my artist first showed me the drawing it was a little small, so i asked her to blow it up just a tiny bit and it was the best decision. ALso, if you need any helpful hints for aftercare just let me know........my beatles tattoo was one of the best decisions i have ever made....i know you will love yours...post pics!

LOL........that is so true!! when people ask me what mine is I say its a beatles montage of real love, strawberry fields, and lucy in the sky with diamonds.......and if they are like Oh I dont get it, then I am like sorry.......we cant be friends! lol

I'm enjoying all these stories! I have this major English novel study, and the book I choose is called The Electric Michelangelo, and its about a guy who lived around Blackpool in between WWI and WWII and how he becomes a tattoo artist, so its interesting hearing everyone's stories.
I'm starting to wish I could get a tattoo....unfortunately my skin doesn't scar well. So if I ever got a tat it would be a hideous mess. Can't get piercings either, cuz I get bumps instead of holes. Ahh well..

I agree with Natty....I have people ask me why I have a 'tank' or a 'helecopter' as a tattoo...(Its the Yellow Sub, by-the-way). I not impressed with folks who don't have a clue.

I have had this about 6 weeks now but this picture was taken just as it was finished i plan a couple more possibly the apple logo and a beatles bass drum
