I feel sad, but also glad that Great Spirit
answered prayers that George has a peaceful,
painfree crossing! All of the postings have
been quite Moving! Let's all pray for Dhani
and Olivia. And Bless you Olivia for being
there for him all these years! Jai Bhagwan!

Re: Our guitars are gently weeping
I have been a big fan of The Beatles ever since I was about 12 years old. I learned about their music from my mom, who had loved The Beatles since she was a little girl. I looked into the lives of all four Beatles, because I wanted to know more about each of them individually. I soon found myself drawn to George Harrison, his teachings, his music. When people asked who my fave Beatle was, they were always surprised to hear me say George Harrison. Most people expect you to say John Lennon.
George was a wonderful person. From his work in Bangla Desh, to his peaceful outlook on life, I feel he made a huge contribution to our world. I always wanted to meet George, & I suppose now I will have to wait a bit longer before I will actually be able to.
Thank you, George, for you have given me so much inspiration. You have helped me to see things in life that I was unable to see on my own. You and your music will always be remembered. May your soul rest in peace.

Re: Our guitars are gently weeping
HippieGirl, your mother should know. Clearly yours has good taste in music.
My mother became a Beatle expert by default. Thanks to my good example and my eagerness to expose her to an enriching cultural experience, she actually (no surprise, really) liked the Fab 4! To her credit, she has always LOVED "Can't Buy Me Love," a 1964 gem!
