hi everyone are the liner notes different in the stereo versions then the mono version. I'm thinking bout buying it if they are but otherwise its really not a big deal. & how will the mono versions sound different than stereo versions on a i pod or in a regular cd player? & is the difference worth 300 bucks? let me know thank u

Makes no difference WHAT they are played on... the stereo and mono mixes, generally speaking, will sound totally different as they represent two uniquely different mixing techniques.

I don't have any of this stuff yet, so I'm guessing here.
But I would say that the individual stereo CDs may have some brief liner notes, maybe a few nice pics, nothing too special.
The mono CDs aren't sold separately, you can only get them as a box set.
I would guess that in the box sets they at least briefly explain the whole mono/stereo thing. Yes, there is a huge difference between the two, there are probably entire sites out there that explain it all.

The stereo sets include all the original liner notes (except for Past Masters) + new historical/recording notes, as well as some pictures. They're nice but certainly not worth purchasing just for them.

Are there any scans available for the remasters? I love the booklets but would love to attach scans of the booklets in PDF form into my iTunes library for each of the albums. Apparently there are available already with the USB Apple in digital form.
What I would do for scans of those? PM me if you have them and require some compensation.
