Re: lewisholm\'s "the beatles recording sessions"
I picked up my Chronicles book at a salvage outlet about 18 months ago for $6.00! The had a bunch of them but they're all gone now.
In the intro Lewisohn states that he attempted to avoid an identical rewrite of The Recording Sessions book,
BUT
that one of the reasons for publishing the Chronicles book was to correct inaccuracies that he realized he had made in The Recording Sessions book.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what those inaccuracies were, because I made the mistake of loaning mine to a recording engineer 7 YEARS AGO WHO SKIPPED TOWN WITH IT!!!!! MARK! WHERE ARE YOU??!!
However, The Recording Sessions was a slicker offering: it was hardbound, had unusual photos--many in color. Just not as accurate.
