It's up for sale again http://www.telegraph.co.uk/property/...-for-sale.html

I am seriously worried about someone buying this and demolishing it to rebuild. Not sure I'll get anywhere but I just posted a message to Sean asking if anything can be done. Surely 15 million is small fry to Yoko.

It's not just the 15 mill you have to put into account the upkeep of the grounds and the wear and tear of the building it's self from former owners. I doubt the National Trust would be interested it's too big!, it's faith will probably be like that of Tittenhurst Park another millionaire will buy and remodel! The home was built in 1914 so perhaps it is covered under some sort of British law that would retain it from being demolished just a guess though who knows.

KEROUAC, I don't know if Yoko would want to purchase it. She recently unloaded a property, that took some time for her to sale.

Plus, she might not be interested for the reasons Winston O' Boogie stated. Even though, Yoko did spend some time there, who can forget that infamous robe debacle in the sunroom? It isn't her home with John, and it probably doesn't have any sentimental value to her.

Have you considered asking Julian about it?

Your welcome Snoopy66.But I should have posted it in the Menlove news area. But then I read that the first post of this thread was posted in 2012.It was before the moderator started a separate news thread.

I see your point jonesingjay. I'm sure Julian is a wealthy man but probably not that wealthy. It must hold some memories for him.

Timeshare is just a business. As in any business, there are decent players, there are frank scammers. My opinion is that business has been built for a long time, in other realities and does not correspond to the present time. You can organize your vacation in the form of a free week of rest. On the fan, but why not. But the amount of entrance, the link to the season and the hemorrhoids with the replacement of the place are ďamusing" (and the choice of the hotel is strictly limited by the program), and most importantly, what is this annual fee, which coincides in price with a weekly stay. I donít see the point. Think then what company Newton Group Transfers to look for to help exit timeshare.
