Default Meeting George.

I have to get his off my chest cos it just isn't fair! Since George has left us for his new life (hope he comes back as something lovely with a good life), friends who are not into George or the Beatles have casually mention seeing him or meeting him in various places, eg in Henley or walking in Windsor or at Hampton Court Flower show (which is one and a half miles from my home and Henley and Windsor not too far either) etc and never told me at the time, they didn't think it important!! I have worshiped this man since I was little, he became my sex god as a teenager (everyone else chose Simon Le Bon!!) and I have had deep respect for him since then and I never bloody saw him once!!!

Typical!

Yeah, it is hard to believe.

I lived in High Wycombe, not too far away from George. Didn't see him while I lived there, but did see him on at another time. Still, I never got to approach him or say anything to him. I'll always regret that now...

I guess this is why when you come across someone & you feel moved to say or do something, you SAY it or DO it!

Lend a hand, complement others, smile, share your laughter & tell people you love them! You never know when you may never see them again!

Life's too short (as we've learned from two Beatles!)

Hey Fiendish

Tell me all about seeing him, would love to know!!

Talking about me just missing him in the UK I don't know if you read my response to the Ravi Shanker tribute but he mentions that George was in various places in India in 1995 and I was in all those places to in 1995, maybe I was never destined to meet him incase I embarrassed myself and him by throwing myself at him.

God I love that man so much.

well I've got to get this off my chest then.

I was planning to go to London in 2003, to some beatle sites, especially to see Friar Park <giggle> I love that house...and I was hoping to catch a glimpse of him, and just to smile a bit at him, you know, be friendly if he was there..but..I guess I wont be doing that now. I just had to share that, i'm also going to see each of the beatles birth homes, oh god I can't wait to see Pauls, his is a lil museum now, LOL. and well I can't wait too see Johns and Mimi's home, ooo cools, hehe

Macca,

Come here to London and visit Paul's house in Cavendish Square, he shares it with Heather Mills now when they are in town.
May stand a chance of seeing him and could go to Stella's house in Notting Hill, may be worth a try.

Fine by me Fiendish however I am currently using my work lap top and not logged into my home PC, if you can wait five minutes I'll shut this down an log onto the other PC as I'm at home anyway (baby is ill but asleep).

Probably for the best then - I don't think he would have liked that.
