Default Cartoons You Love

I loved the formulaic Hanna-Barbera cartoons most of all.

As for Warner Bros, the WWII era themed cartoons, my favorite character is the now non-politically correct Pepe Le Pew. I loved that amorous skunk from Paris. He had such class!

I love cartoons.

Road Runner was always one of my favs. Always liked the desert and now I live here in Arizona which looks like the background of those cartoons. The Chuck Jones era ones are by far the best.

The early years of the Pink Panther were awesome. They ruined it in later years with more detail and having him talk. The Inspector was also really cool.

And of course, Scooby Doo. Again it was ruined in later years with the introduction of Scrappy Doo and Scooby Dumb. The more recent remakes suck, looks like the characters are always in a spotlight.

Johnny Quest was cool. Who would have known that all these decades later we'd be seeing Hadji everywhere we go?

Honorable mention go to: Tennessee Tuxedo, Go Go Gophers, Mr. Peabody, Rocky & Bullwinkle, The Flintstones and sorry to all of those I've missed.

As an adult I love Beavis & Butthead and South Park. The Simpsons get an honorable mention.

I grew up watching cartoons on Saturday mornings! The ones that have been mentioned are good one. Fractured fairy tales, from the Rocky & Bullwinkle show always made me laugh.

Another fave of mine is Top Cat.

I'm with Rich. I love cartoons!

I always cheer for poor Wile E. Coyote though. And Bullwinkle is so dumbly cute.

When we lived in Canada we always watched The Raccoons. Not sure if it ever made it south of the border.

And of course The Flintstones and Bugs Bunny and and and

I love Loony Toons, Tom And Jerry, The Goofy shorts, Duck Tales (Just try to get the theme song out of your head!), Batman: The animated series ( I think Mark Hamil did a great Joker), Animaniacs, and Avatar: The Last Airbender (The less about the movie, the better).

I meant Oggy Doggy and Doggy Daddy, spelled their names wrong!

I like Sponge Bob too. I'm also getting into Teen Titans. What's cool about the theme song is that it's sung by a Japanese pop group.

A topic near and dear to my heart!

I've loved cartoons ever since I was a boy. I grew up on the GOOD stuff: Busg Bunny, old Warner Bros. WWII-era shorts, old Popeye, etc.

My hands-down favorite is Bugs Bunny (1940 - 1950-ish). In the early 50's, cutbacks made a huge difference in the quality of the cartoons, and you can see it. I did even as a kid. So, those "Bugs and Daffy Cartoon Shows" that came out when I was a kid really kind'a sucked. Nothing can touch those wartime toons!

The Hannah-Barbera cartoons I was never too fond of. Save for the Flintstones, I found them to be inferior to the afoer-mentioned WB's cartoons.

Other childhood faves were the "Commander Brag" shorts, "Underdog", and "Go Speed Racer", and "Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse".
