Sometimes that information can be gotten from Amazon.com or you can call places that sell recordings. Radio stations that feature George Harrison also might be another stone to turn.

Another stone is Beatlefest. You can call them at their toll free number. Chances are you'll hit pay dirt there.

A re-releasing was planned for last year. However, George's health issues and his passing of course posponed this, along with the Living In The Material World remastered CD releasing.

It is said that George had already selected bonus tracks and that Dhani is working in the issuing. No date has been given, though.

It's been delayed about 20 times now, but I e-mailed the Beatlefest guy and he says that the movie may be coming out early next year, so the CD could come along with it.

BTW Scotty, that test post here--sheer brilliance.

Isn't there a CD of the Concert?

What would have meant a reissue... a remastering?

A reissue--like the one for ATMP. Most of the time they are remastered, a lot have bonus tracks, and occasionally they're remixed.

There is a CD.

But as most of Hari's work, I am lucky to live in a country where still a lot of his work can be bought, if you know the right place and are lucky to also have a bootleg store just near by.

Anyroad, baltcd.com also has the concert on CD and a few minutes on the web will also find a way to the CD.

I assumed the CD release which happened earlier this year was the re-release that was planned as you couldn't get TCFBD before on CD anyway.

Thanks! That post was written in an effort to do my part to extend the life of one of our most precious freedoms. More brilliance remains.... you will see, my son....

I've seen the CD, but since it's a double, I don't see the point in spending so much if it's going to be reissued with more tracks anyway. I remember rumors about it being released in the spring of 2002, but of course, untimely events have delayed it. I can't wait though! George and Bob on the same album!

I'm waiting for the reissue too...the only thing about the bonus tracks is they said that most of the other stuff not in the film/ album has bad sound quality. Hope they can remaster it well enough.
