Here is the web cam on Abbey Rd studios filming the making of the film "About Time" last year with Rachel McAdam. It was there watching as I live only yards away. Go to 1 hours 36 mins. In the scene , the leading man is trying to get all the tourist off the crossing. First 4 Japanese girls, then 4 American fellows, then four Liverpool fellows. Rachel McAdam can be seen moving into the studio gate (bottom right) and then running up to the crossing being pregnant stooping on the pavement and he runs up to her. The guy on the scooter who jumps the crossing nearly killed a few actors in the many takes. They did and re-did this shoot "all day" - countless takes. The studio entrance is to the bottom right. At one point I was ushered inside when the shooting started standing next to Rachel McAdams, who was tiny and underwhelming in looks - but the camera sees that differently.
All vehicles and people on the pavements were props and extras. The drivers of the cars, and a rented red bus off camera, were in their seats all day. I was under near he crossing. I haven't seen the film yet as it premiers on 8 Aug 2013 in the UK and 1 Nov 2013 in the USA. As he was running over to the pregnant Rachel McAdams from the crossing one of the camera crew said to me, "he doesn't look like he has a f**k in him". :)
