Okay, so a couple days ago on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jon was showing Obama talking about having the troops out by September. Then Jon had a bunch of virtual balloons coming down and started singing and playing "Happy Xmas", the "War is Over" part. Until Jon realized Obama still wants to keep about 35000 soldiers there after August.

In the original Batman series in the 60's, as Adam West (Bruce Wayne) went to answer the BatPhone, Burt Ward (Dick Grayson) was busy pounding away at a drum set. Adam West said something like, "Cool it Ringo!"

Another Family Guy mention in a cut scene, Ringo comes up to the rest of the band in the studio and says something like "Hey Guys ook at this song I wrote" and Paul says "You know what I'm gonna put this right here, right on the refridgerator so we can see it everyday." then Ringo says "Alright"
Slightly mean but I couldn't help but laugh.

Steven Colbert has still been mentioning his interview with Paul. A few days ago he had a singer on and explained to her what the Colbert Bump was. "I had this guy on named Paul McCartney, and he came on my show, and now he's HUGE"
Tuesday he also made a reference to the Paul is Dead thing. He saw this article about how drinking a lot of coffee apparently makes you more apt to see ghosts. Steven didnt believe it at first until he realized "What a minute! What about my interview with Paul McCartney?? How could I have done that if...he's...dead! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Haha, yeah, good stuff.
I think it starts when Peter says "That's as much of a waste as Ringo writing a song!" Or something along those lines.

Some other old shows
There was an episode of the Munsters where the Standells performed "I Want to Hold Your Hand".
On the Addams Family episode, Lurch the teenage idol, a record producer tells the family, "Lurch will be bigger than the Beatles".

They were mentioned in the Hannah Montana Movie. These kids were trying to raise money for something and this guy goes "you'll only make enough money if The Beatles show up...oh wait, there's a problem".

They've even gotten to Hannah Montana? Aww geez. There was a similar reference in the Josie & The Pussycats movie-
Wyatt (the manager)- Groups with the word 'and' in their name are much more successful that groups without it
Valerie- But what about the Beatles? or the Rolling Stones? or the Backstre-
Wyatt- yes! yes, yes, alright, if you want to split hairs, yes!
and there was another mention of them later in the movie when the band broke up-
Alexander- They're gone Josie! No more band! Broken up! Just like the Beatles! or a flock of birds....

I've spotted so many references to them in T.V. shows, movies. I can't think of them all now but I will and post it.

In the movie "Riding The Bullet", the lead actor's girlfriend gives him two tickets to see John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band in Toronto.

Stephen Colbert made a mention to Yoko on his show last week. He was talking about his upcoming Persian Gulf trip and he cant say where exactly he'll be. So he took a map of Pangea, and put a thumbtack in it to show where he'd be. Then he said "This is of course, before the continents broke apart" Then he shook his fist and shouted "Yoko!!!"

Stephen's been mentioning the Beatles quite a lot. He had the Decemberists on his show and they were talking about how complicated their folksy lyrics can be. The topic of British artists came up and Stephen said something like, "Well what about the Beatles? You know 'Why Dont We Do It In The Road?'. Now that's straightforward"

On the show "Airline," there is a 2005 episode about an L.A. based Beatle cover band, "Backbeat Beatles" who get delayed in Houston en route to do a show in Harlingen.
The episode is called "A Hard Day's Flight." Interesting thing, in this post 9/11 world that there was this rude pain in the ass woman and an equally boorish man screaming and acting a fool because their plane was delayed. Damn, don't blame the reservation clerk! The only thing you can do is chill, maybe go on standby and hope you get a seat. The last place anybody would want to be seen acting a fool is at an airport, what with all that's taken place since 9/11/01!

I'm know this isnt where Pixar got it from, but, in Toy Story the company Andy's mom uses when they move is called Eggman Movers. It does always make me think of Walrus, even though I'm almost certain they got it from somewhere else.
