Macca hurled expletives at photographers as he made his way home.


The former Beatle spent the evening with his daughter Mary.

For rock legend Sir Paul McCartney, so it seems, all the world's a stage.

After the wine flowed during a night out with his daughter Mary at London’s XO restaurant, he treated fellow diners to an impromptu performance as he began singing at his table.


But the well-refreshed singer's good mood took a nose-dive as he left the venue.

He was not too impressed to be greeted by photographers after emerging from the family dinner.


Although Mary, his daughter to late wife Linda, is a photographer she seemed to have little empathy for the snappers as she put her hand over her head to stop them getting a decent photo.

McCartney was more forthcoming, yelling to the lensmen: "F*** off, you bastards."


Last week, McCartney had only sweet words as accepted an award Album of the Year at the Classical Brit Awards for his record Ecce Cor Meum.


The album, which he described as "a labour of love", was inspired Linda, who died in 1998.

hehe Love Paul. I wish I could have seen(and heard!) this!

Paul's keeps rocking!!!!

It's understandable why Paul yelled at the paparazzi. In that top picture, Paul does indeed look like he's had a few too many.

Heh. Get some liquor in him and he'll tell you how he really feels about those photographers! This is pretty funny. Poor guy deserves a night where he can get a little tipsy.

I wish someone would have interviewed him with the chance that he would say what was really on his mind in lieu of the PR speak we usually get.

Paul was drunk.

Good for Paul he needs to be able to let off steam sometimes! Nice to see him out enjoying himself, why not enjoy a night out with the family and get a little drunk, we all do it!! Don't you just love him!!

John shouted at people too when he was drunk. It's not so bad.

Well at least we see the real Paul for a change instead of the usual PR coated cardboard cut out.

I love him, but it's a shame we don't see the real Paul often enough. No real real fan would think any less of him!

I suppose we are already well familiar with all sides of Paul McCartney. I don't think 'real' always necessarily means just 'drunk and noisy'.

I agree I just meant the relaxed happy Paul doing what we all do.

We all shout at strangers...

Well, I've done that too, but I'm not proud of it of course.

I don't think they are strangers to Macca, he gets used to the same old photographers following him around to catch him out, even on family nights out. I couldn't live like that it would make me want to shout and swear, if he did swear of course!!

Yes, swearing and shouting goes a bit overboard but hopefully Macca really knew those photographers. If he knew them it becomes a more familiar matter then and doesn't mean anything bad.
