I can't find it!!

Ok, first off, there are two things that I'm almost positive I've seen/read before, but I can't find them anywhere. I can't figure out if I just dreamt it or what.

The first one is I could've sworn I saw Paul talking about the Paul is dead clues somewhere on the Anthology, but I've watched it again recently and I didn't see it. Is it on anything else?

I also thought I remembered reading an interview or quote that was talking about the Butcher Cover. John (I think) said something like, "I liked my idea better- to decapitate Paul."

Had I just dreampt these or what?

No, you didn't dream it... at least that quote from John. I've read it before, but I just don't remember where. Hope someone else could be of more help!

Thanks anyway. At least now I know I didn't dream it. But I'm still extremely skepical about the Paul thing.

- nothing about the 'Paul Is Dead' thing, though, I'm afraid...

I remember reading in the Anthology around the Abbey Road pages that Paul was talking about the clues. So I dont think you dreamt it

Alright, I think I found the Paul is Dead thing you were thinking of!

In The Beatles Anthology (pg. 341) Paul discussing Abbey Road:

"But then I was rung one day by one of the blokes at the office, who said 'Hey, there's a rumor started by a DJ in America that you;re dead.' I said,'You're kidding - just tell them I'm not.' He said, 'No, that won't do. You've got no shoes on on the cover: this is apparently a Mafia sign of death. And there's a car registration plate behind you which says 28 IF. Well that means you'd be 28 - if you'd have lived!' And I replied, 'Wait a minute - he's stretching it a bit here, isn't he?'"

Actually, the part that I remember is of Paul talking about the 'Inner Groove' played backwards.
