Hello, Beatle People!
It's been a long, long, long time.... since I posted here. But, I needed to drop by and tell all of you to go out NOW and buy the 50th Anniversary Boxed Edition of "Sgt. Pepper's".
It's like listening to the album for the first time again. Giles Martin did an amazing job on the new stereo mix. Nothing was changed... nothing was altered... nothing was added. He simply made the stereo mix
better.
And all the out-takes and early takes of the songs on discs 2 and 3 are worth the price of admission, alone.
It ain't cheap, but then again, nothing worthwhile ever is.
