“Can You Take Me Back?”
I always thought of that “orphan” White Album tune “Can You Take Me Back?” as the beginning of “Revolution No. 9,” not as the end of “Cry Baby Cry.” I guess the folks who make the CDs don’t agree with me.

I agree with you that they made the wrong choice.
Can You Take Me Back? leads into Rev#9 much more than it ends Cry Baby Cry.
I think they could have listed it as a separate song which is what they did with Her Majesty on Abbey Road.

The banding on the original vinyl was always between Cry Baby Cry and Revolution #9 so I always saw it as something tacked on to Cry Baby Cry. I do agree that they could have listed it separate.

Always considered it as part of Cry Baby Cry. Both acoustic. Both creepy. Both brilliant.

I always think of it as the intro to Rev Number Nine.
I had homemade cds from downloads, and kept the original running order intact.

It's the finale to CBC to my preference. My question is, is there an unreleased/boot version of a more completed Can You Take Me Back? Maybe the unplugged white album?
