Default 12 hours to Please Please Me - BBC

I don't know if this has already been posted. Please Please me was recorded in a day - 12 hours - in Feb 1963, 50 years ago, and no post production. Unbelievable when looking at how they do it today. This programme takes you through the day and various artists perform each song, in their own style, in the order they were recorded. All done at Abbey Rd No. 2 studio. Amazingly the Beatles had no list of songs to record beforehand. Twist & Short was an afterthought as they wondered what to do for the last track. I recall talking to some of the backup singers after they recorded in the local pub ( I live near Abbey Rd studios), who told me about the recordings and to look out for it on TV. Now it is on Youtube. Listen to Twist & Shout by Beverley Knight at the end, time: 51:06. Amazing!!! She did it more than justice. :)
