This guy insults John & Paul!!!

There's a guy named Howard Fineman who has a site for tribute bands called "Howard's Tribute Band Heaven". A friend of mine showed it to me. This guy is not only crazy (taking 10 minutes to read his droolings pretty well convinced me), but he claims that John Lennon has spoken to him in dreams and that he has been blessed with "channeling" John's lyrics for a new "Beatles" song. He even sites the authors as "McCartney/Lennon/Fineman". Not only is it a piss-poor ripoff, but the very idea that some no-one would be the "mouth" of Lennon really infuriated me! And for all Beatles fans and those who respect the memory of John, you should be, too! I'm a huge Beatles fan, and when my bud told me about this guy, I couldn't believe he could get away with this, but I guess so. Let your other Beatle-loving friends know about this jerk.. maybe if enough people tell him to knock it off, he'll go copy someone else.....

Thank for telling us about this. I'm sure that Lennon McCartney (someone on this site) will go there and leave some curel, hysterical comment.

First of all, welcome, you're new, so am I. Secondly, for sure that guy is not a fan, is an ill person that is looking for attention, poor guy, is not a fan is a fanatic, thare's a big difference between this two words, the first one is some one that likes a lot a band or something, but a fanatic is an excess almost overdose of it, a person that misunderstand that you can like a lot something but not to loose the floor and keep the feet on the ground. Sick is the word.

Thanks for welcoming me! Always nice to chat w/ fellow Beatle-niks! I've worked for many years with American English, the Beatles Tribute Band - great guys & so bloody authentic, they scare a lot of us! Went to Tokyo last year with them & got them an endorsement with Gibson/Epiphone (I work for them)... and they really bring back the excitement I got back in the old days!!! Now, I play in a Cheap Trick band as Rick Neilsen, with lots of Beatles influences, of course!

As far as this "Howard" guy is concerned, he's a real nutcase... and since I'm doing something that involves Yoko & the John Lennon estates, I'll probably drop her attorney a line about this guy, too!

Beleive me, they sound pretty good live. Any sound files they have are at least 1 1/2 years old, they have gotten better over time... You'd just have to come out here & hear them yourself!

Oh yeah, this "Howard" guy is WAY freaking nuts! You have to really go thru his website and read some of the shit he's got on it... absolutely a disgrace for ANYBODY who says they love or respect John and the Beatles to go around saying the John "channels" his lyrics & songs thru this guy! And the song IS pretty lame... it's more of his motivation to get some sort of noteriety that pisses me off, plus it's GOT to be illegal (even on the 'Net) to label it a new "Beatles" song... and even list the song credits to "McCartney/Lennon/Fineman"... I surprised that nobody has alerted Yoko & Paul to this bozo!
