Question Where do ex-Beatles Tribute Band musicians meet?

Hi.

I had heard of a network of musicians that used to be in Beatlemania and other Beatles Tribute Bands. I had heard that, if a member of a Beatles Tribute Band was unavailable for a scheduled performance, the band could post the position of which they were in need. Then, musicians, experienced in performing in Beatles Tribute Bands, could respond to the ad, workout the details, and then show up for the performance.

Is this true?

Please write back soon as we are currently (January 2014) in search of someone to fill the role of Paul McCartney in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.

Thank you!

Sacha

P.S. I understand that we could post ads on Craigslist, BandMix, TheMode, etc. but they are not specific to The Beatles.

My drummer buddy from high school and myself just put together a new group.
We lucked out getting a John player and got our George player off my Craigslist add. Never got any response off Bandmix for either players.

It's a very small circle. Once you friend a few on FB, next thing you know, every other person on your suggested friends list is a "John", "Paul", "Ringo", or "George" either local or some other part of the country. I assembled our band through FB. I found the people who responded to the CL ad were weaker candidates.
