Beatles CD releases
Hello all, first post.
I am sure this question has been answered before, and the subject thoroughly discussed, but I have a question regarding Beatles CD releases...
I have heard about the 80s releases, and the remasters, but does anyone have a timeline of the actual releases? I would really like to gain an understanding of the official CD release history...
I have "GOOGLED" it and cant seem to find anything...
Thanks!

The original CDs came out mostly in 1987, in chronological order with the exception of Magical Mystery Tour. The two Past Masters came out a year later. They were released in batches.
The remasters came out all together on September 9, 2009...individual stereo releases, the stereo box set and the mono box set.

The US Capitol albums have only been issued up to Rubber Soul on CD. Nice audio presentation, but the actual packaging is awful. The 2009 Mono remastered box set is amazing. Both audio and packaging.

Thanks...For some reason I thought the majority of the catalog was released in Eighty Seven, but some were not released until the 90's..

The Red and Blue Albums were the only previously released sets issued on CD in the 90s ('93 to be exact). The BBC set, Anthology, and Yellow Submarine Songtrack were all new releases to begin with.
