I'm writing something at the moment about what could have happened if the Beatles didn't quit. When it's done I'll post it here.

Tomorrow Never Knows
A Terrifying Tour in Japan and the Philippines
By
Chey Lennon

“Gosh, I’ve totally lost track of the days.” Paul sighed and leaned his head back in his seat.
“Today is the 27th of June.” I replied without looking up from my drawing of a psychedelic flower. John stared out the plane window and sighed, bordly. He turned towards me and I held up my drawing pad for him to see. He took of his rectangular sunglasses and squinted to see the drawing. “That’s groovy.” He complimented and placed his glasses on me. I grinned at him and resumed my drawing.
“You’ve won, again.” Ringo gave up and handed his last card to Erica who was smiling sillily.
“I’ve had enough card games for now.” Ringo sighed and closed his eyes.
“Aren’t we going to be there soon?” Steph turned in her seat and faced Brian, who was sitting across from her and Paul.
“I think so.” He replied. “They should announce it soon.”
“Thanks.” She smiled at him and turned back to Paul who was scribbling down the songs for the concert in two days.
“You should play ‘Got to Get You Into My Life.’” Steph leaned her head on Paul’s shoulder and breathed in the contenting smell his cologne mixed with cigarette smoke.
Paul looked up and stared out the window for a moment, thinking. He looked down again at his notepad and scribbled her suggestion at the top of the list.
George sat next to Neil; he was deep in thought when he was interrupted by the pilot’s voice on the loud speaker. “Ladies and Gentlemen, we will touch down at the Tokyo airport in approximately thirty minutes.”
John perked up in his seat and yawned. “Thank God! This is almost torture!” he said jokingly.
I laughed at his sarcasm and closed my drawing pad.
Thirty minutes later we were stepping off the plane. The usual crowd of fans greeted us and we waved enthusiastically. We were all dressed in matching black and white shirts and John was wearing his hat. John tripped down the last step and we walked to a waiting limo. I craned my neck to look around and take in all the sights and things going on, but George noticed an officer standing nearby who looked impatient and gave me a light shove towards the waiting car. John rested his hand on my shoulder so we wouldn’t become separated and helped me into the limo.
George stared out the window. “Did you notice all the Japanese police in metal helmets standing around?” he asked.
“Yeah! They look like World War Two soldiers!” Ringo laughed.
“The Japanese are very disciplined people.” Paul commented.
John pulled his hat down low and made his eyes into little slits. He grinned maliciously.

Paul hit him in the arm and he came out of his impression. “Kung Fu?” he said on a high-pitched accent.
We giggled at John’s dry humor and continued gazing out the window.
“That’s odd.” Steph said. “There are no fans lining the streets”
“Look twice. There is a group of them over there, and another over there.” Erica pointed out.
“I guess the Japanese have everything very organized and under control.” Paul agreed.
“Eek!” John shrieked as we turned a corner and came upon another big group of waving excited fans.
“I hope that wasn’t for real.” Steph remarked.
“It was,” Paul grinned and assured her.
John crinkled his forehead and scowled back. He turned away and then pretended to pout back.
Soon we arrived at the Tokyo Hilton and some Japanese men in uniform escorted up to our top floor suite. They left us to the silence of our room and closed the door. Mal and Neil assisted in taking our bags up while Paul and Ringo plopped down on the couch to watch TV.
“Gosh dammit! You can’t understand a word they’re saying!” Ringo cursed, switching off the TV in anger.
Paul sighed and helped himself to a bowl of fruit on the coffee table in front of him.
George walked in from unpacking and sat down with a Japanese newspaper in an English version.
“He Ring. The newspaper is in English.” He said from his seat on the couch.
“Naw, it’s alright. I’m going to find something to eat.” He replied.
Paul held out the bowl of fruit and Ringo grabbed an orange.
Just the Erica, Steph, Neil, and I stumbled into the room, laughing hysterically and clutching our stomachs.
The boys looked up in surprise.
“Oh my gosh! I can’t believe that we told you that!” Erica laughed.
“Well you did.” John’s remark was ignored.
Neil chuckled. “Ah, well now, what if I laughed every time I saw you?”
Erica stopped. A blank look crossed her face. Steph choked back a stiffled laugh and grinned at her stupidly. They burst into a fit of laughter again. I plopped down on the couch next to Ringo and snatched up half of his peeled orange. He didn’t look up from his paper and I went over and joined John and George who were sitting on the floor playing with the radio and sharing jokes.
I broke off a section of orange and shoved the whole thing into my mouth. George grabbed another section and popped it into his mouth, grinning.
“Hey!” I cried out and sprayed orange juice all over him and John.
“Whoops! Sorry!”
John chuckled and let me wipe off the sticky juice off his face with the corner of my sleeve. A look of affection came over his face and he leaned over and kissed me. George rolled his eyes and pretended to watch a bird outside the window. I sat down next to them and John turned the knob on the radio until he found a station that played rock and roll.
Paul got up and paced the room restlessly.
“I want to go out.” He declared.
John and George looked up from the radio and smiled mischievously at each other.
“Boys, I’m sorry, but a Japanese official informed me that you couldn’t leave the hotel unless you were at a show.” Brian glanced up from his book.
“They did? The bastards!” Paul cursed.
“Why does it matter if we’re not at a bloody gig?” Ringo added.
“I’m sorry boys. They strictly enforced it by having officers stationed all over.” Brian answered.
Steph sighed, “I’m bored of ‘War!’”
“Me too.” Erica said and threw up her cards in the air and let them fall down on her.
“This whole trip is a gag.” I answered half-heartedly.
I got up and left John and George on the floor. Picking up my camera I proceeded to roam about the room and take snapshots of everyone’s activities.
“Why waste your film on that, Chey?” Steph asked as I clicked away.
“Well, it looks like we won’t get any real tourist time, does it?” I replied curtly and frowned at the mention of it.
She sighed and got up. Snatching a strawberry up from the fruit bowl she plopped down next to Paul on the couch.
Just as she sat down the telephone on the side table startled her. Brian jumped up to answer.
“ ‘Ello?”
“Yes, is this Mr. Epstein?” an oriental woman’s voice said on the other line.
“Yes, this is him speaking.” He answered.
Brian held his hand to his other hear so he was able to hear clearly without the distractions from us. He listened for a moment and thanked the woman and set the receiver down.
Straightening his tie, he told us to behave and walked promptly out of the room. George had his eye on him as he strolled out and once he was gone, John giggled hysterically.
“I want to go out.” Paul whined.
“Come ed then!” John agreed, swiftly jumping over a chair.
“Where are you going, John?” Ringo looked up from his paper.
“I’m going out!” John smiled, taking my hand mischievously.
“Brian told us we couldn’t leave.” George said winking.
“Why not?” Mal’s deep voice boomed as he walked in with Neil.
Paul came out of his daydream on the couch and looked up.
Steph popped another strawberry in his mouth and John grinned wickedly at the pair.
“I have an idea…” he said, rubbing his hands together. “Neil comes with us,” he said motioning his hand towards Neil, himself, and me. “And Mal, you sneak out with Mr. McCartney and his bird.”
“Mr. McCartney?” Paul questioned. “Since when?”
“Since the day you were born, poof head.” Steph played along.
Erica giggled.
“Hey!” George dropped his paper onto the floor. “Why are we left out, eh John?”
“Well, uh… I guess next time you can go, you have to stay here to make sure Brian doesn’t bag us when he comes back and finds us missing.” John explained thoughtlessly.
Ringo batted his eyelashes. “Yes, John.” He replied in a high, girly voice.
“Thanks!” John smiled and grabbed his sunglasses from the table.
“Wait a minute, John.” George added, standing up.
“What are you going to do as a favor or return?”
“Later George!” John called back and slammed the door behind him.
“Bastard…” George muttered under his breath.
Two seconds later the door opened and John peeped his head through. Snatching his hat up he raced back out in the hall, leaving the door wide open.
Ringo sighed and got up to close it. Erica giggled and he gave her a confused stare.
Meanwhile, John, Neil and I had split up with Paul, Mal, and Steph. We snuck down a busy street with bustling shops and markets. John had his hat pulled down low and was wearing his dark, rectangular sunglasses. Neil was also wearing a hat and I had my sunglasses on and my hair hung loosely around my face. Our disguises seemed to work for awhile, but failed after a group of young Japanese girls recognized John. Neil immediately pushed us into a doorway and I clung to John’s hand tightly. Dodging people we ran through shops and ducked under doorways.
Soon, Neil decided we had lost them and we casually walked into a shop selling Japanese artwork. John picked up a beautiful vase and asked for my approval.
“Yes, John, I think it would look lovely in your study or on the mantel in the living room," I told him.
John purchased the intricately designed vase and I chose a delicate paper fan with a flower design. Neil bought a silk scarf for his wife at home and we strolled out onto the busy street.
“Run!” I cried as I glanced behind us and noticed another group of teenage girl pushing through that crowd and chasing after us.
We stumbled and sprinted as fast as we could towards the hotel. Neil turned his head back to make sure we were still behind him and for a quick moment and when he did he ran smack into a police officer standing on duty on the corner of a sidewalk.
“Oomph!” Neil uttered a muffled cry as he ran straight into the officer.
The startled man sternly looked us over.
John ad I stopped behind Neil and looks of fear crossed our faces.
“Naughty Beatles!” the stout officer scolded.
Wondering how the policeman knew out true identity with our ‘disguises’ I looked up at John. His glasses were askew and his hat was nearly falling off; it was obvious who he was.
Then the officer said in broken English, “Come. You must stay in hotel.”
We obediently followed him and John took my hand. He led us back to our room and nodded us good-bye. John looked sourly back as he left and closed the door. Carefully setting down his newly treasured vase, he looked up at George, Erica, and Ringo who looked at us confused and then snickered.
“Ha ha John, looks like you were caught too.” George teased.
John tossed his hat onto a chair and answered, “Caught too? You mean Macca, don’t you?”
That’s right!” George grinned.
Neil took the items we had purchased and let the room/
“How did they get caught?” I asked. “And where are they?”
“Ask Paul.” Erica replied, “And they are in their room.”
Ringo shrugged his shoulders and Paul and Steph came in laughing.
“Thought I heard you come in, John.” Paul smiled.
John gave him a dirty look back and settled on the couch.
“How did you get here before us?” I asked Steph who was lying on the floor with a notebook in front of her face.
“We-el,” she began, “About five minutes after we left the hotel a group of girls recognized Paul because he didn’t take any care to put on a disguise of some kind. Paul stopped and gave them his autograph and a policeman noticed the mass crowd of excited girls and escorted us back to the hotel.”
John snickered and Paul punched him in the arm.
“Brian’s not back?” I asked.
“Nope.” Ringo answered.
“He is now!” Mal said as he and Brian walked into the room.
Paul gulped and an innocent, sweet look came over his face. Ringo cracked his newspaper and ignored Brian and Mal.
“Boys, that was the mayor I just spoke with. It concerned the concert you are playing tomorrow at the Budokan Hall. He said that some people are upset that a rock group is going to play there because it is a special spiritual hall for martial arts.”
Paul perked up and looked thoughtfully at Brain.
“Why are we going to play there then?” he asked.
“That was the place arranged, Paul.” Brian replied. “It will be fine, and you can’t play somewhere else.”
Ringo yawned. “I think it’s time for bed.” He said and got up to stretch. He smiled at Erica who trotted after him into their room.
John nodded at me and we headed to bed too.
George, Paul and Steph stayed in the main room and chatted to Brian and Mal before retiring also.
The next morning a tiny ray of sunlight shone through a slit in the curtain and woke Erica. She gently shook Ringo awake and pulled on her bathrobe. An inviting smell came from the main room and she trudged in and was greeted by George, Paul, Steph and I.
“Morning.” George greeted and motioned for them to sit down and eat.
“Where’s the cheeky one?” Ringo asked, meaning John.
“He wouldn’t get his lazy butt out of bed.” I answered and took a bite of my toast.
“I suggest you get him up or we’ll be late for the gig.” Paul advised.
I gulped down the last bit of milk in my glass and got up.
Silently I crept into our room where he was sleeping peacefully.
I tiptoed to the bed and softly whispered in John’s ear. “Time to get up, John Love.”
His eyelids fluttered and he groaned and rolled over.
Annoyed, I pounced on the bed and John awoke with a start. Rubbing his eyes he grinned sillily and rolled out of bed.
“Mmm, I smell some brekkie.” He breathed out.
I led him into the main room and he immediately snatched up the last cinnamon roll and sat down by Paul.
John ate rudely to harass Paul and Paul edged away from him with a look of disgust on his face.
Steph giggled and John gave her an accomplished grin.
A knock came on the door at 12:30, exactly two hours after our late breakfast. Brain scrambled to the door straightening his tie and arranging his jacket. He opened the door and there stood two very tidy looking men in fresh looking uniforms. Brian conversed with them for a moment ad then closed the door. He stepped over to his briefcase for a moment and shuffled through some papers. Then he strode back to the entry and nodded his head to the men. They nodded back and promptly walked down the hall. Brian closed the door behind him and John’s face peeked around the corner and he stepped in the room. Combing his hair as he spoke he asked, “What were those blokes in uniform about, Brian?”
“They just came around to see if you were ready John, that’s all.” Brian answered.
“Ready for what?” John became more and more curious.
“Ready to be escorted to the Budokan for the gig.” Brian replied sounding more impatient.
The events of the day before flashed through John’s head and he wondered if Brian had found out. He nodded his head and left Brian, his curiosity almost satisfied.
I looked up as John came in our room. A worried look was on his face. My hands on my hips I said, “Alright, John, what is it this time,” sounding like a nagging mother.
John let out a sigh. “Nothing, sweet pea, I thought Eppy found out about our game plan yesterday.”
“Oh, John. Don’t let it worry you. I’m sure Brian disagrees with the Japanese keeping us in as much as we all do.” I answered and brought his beige jacket over and helped him slip it on over his silk red shirt.

The end of what i have typed so far.

i bet this is the longest post of all-time!

After I finish typing mine, I'll post it here too! I think mine really sucks cause it's my first one, and I'm only 11. I've finished writing it, but I'm not even close to finishing typing it. I'll post what I have typed so far. It's about when Ringo got his tonsils out. It's 22 notebook pages long! Longest thing I've ever written.
hope you enjoy it when I get it on!

I've written stories, none of them are about the beatles. I have an 85 page typed one, an 152 page handwritten one, a 40 page handwritten one and then three stories that are between 5 and 15 pages long. None of them are finished it always seems that I can start a story but I can never finish it.

Well one is about my friends and I I basically wrote it for them, that one is the longest and it's really terrible cause they pressed me for a new chapter practically everyday. The really short ones are about completely fictional characters but I couldn't let anyone read them the foreshadowing is extremely blatant and I practically get sick with how horribly I wrote them. And then the other really long one was about the Moffatts a Canadian group I used to like a whole bunch about 2-3 years ago. Even though I've been told the plot lines are interesting I could never post them because I'm a perfectionist and I just wouldn't be able to post my stories without practically rewriting them first.

BTW, hey beatle

it took alot of courage to post this story too.
i am a perfectionist too, and i can't stand to read the stories i wrote 3 months ago because i am very critical of myself and it would make me want to toss my efforts away. i know i have improved my writing since the because when i read them this time i can see how much better they are and i am actually proud of them.

people have told me to expand my horizons and not just write beatles fan fic, but that is what i enjoy writing, and it is really helping my writing all around, in school, in my nonesonse writing, and i my journal. i have always loved to write and i have kept a journal since the end of second grade i belive. and ever since i read the little house books i wanted to be a writer, and i still do.

so, all i gotta say is stick to it and have a lot a perserverence in your dreams.

Photography is my passion, though I've been told I'm good at writing I really couldn't handle being on a schedule for producing stories. That would make me nutty or should I say nuttier because I'm pretty far gone already.

For those of you who thought about me being a woman (just kidding, Eleanor, you know I didn't get upset at all ), you will find here one more reason for believing that.

I also like to write (of course in Spanish, these are my first attempts at English, as you may have noted... ), but I kind of like poetry better. My grandfather (God bless his soul) was a great poet, and published a lot of books, so I guess I inherited some of his interests. Although I'm more interested in Math (I'm going to start studying to be an Engineer ), I could write too. I started writing when I was about 10 (about silly things), and then stopped when I recognized that I was VERY BAD at writing. So I kind of have a whole unreleased book of silly child-ish poems

By now I'm beginning to write again (specially with all the things that have happened to me in my life lately ), and I'm getting more sentimental... In English, I have written some musical reviews and published them at amazon.com. Many people have found them helpful, even with all the mistakes they have.

I would love to learn to play an instrument and put some music to a poem I wrote last week. I think it has some rhyhtm.

Well this is my last "sentimental" post. I'm going to be 100% a BOY again.

Darkhorse.. I hope to meet someone like you someday!(and spend the rest of me life with them.)(Don't take that wrong Darkhorse I wasn't suggesting anything ) You are great. I love math myself...and if you are anything like me, you can get wrapped up in it, or rather the challenge of figuring a problem gives you a rush.
But writing is wonderful, because the fact that we humans can even do it, should be a cherished gift. And then to read and understand....but more than that enjoy .
I love to write...but for some reason I've never had anyone but my teachers, famliy and friends read it. I've brought myself and readers to tears, not because it was mushy, but because I said what was in my heart...that's some stong stuff!!!

What is your last poem about?...Darhorse?

OK, first of all, it's "Darkhorse". I've had some kind of troubles with people out there spelling my name the wrong way...

Second, you owe me a kiss, remember? So maybe we should meet sometime (although I'd have to travel likk 10,000 kilometres to do that )

And third, my last poem was called "Nuevo Día" ("New Day", for those of you who don't understand Spanish ). It was some kind of sentimental ballad dedicated to a girl that kind of make me suffer this whole summer... I just wish her the best with the one he picked up (who, of course, it wasn't me ). You know, it's almost like a wish: I wish an always-shining sun for her, but tell her definitely to "go her own way"

I kind of opened up my heart there... I'm getting sentimental again. To quote Maxwell Sheffield: "I'm gonna watch some SPORTS"

I really didn't enjoy my sports. My favorite soccer team (Deportes Concepción) lost 0-1 in the first week of the Chilean Soccer League. I went to the stadium, and almost fell asleep (what a boring game they played!)

Eleanor, your posts have certain kind of thing (I don't know how to describe it): they make me think about them after I leave the forum. So, after I left the other day, I was thinking about the little number of people I know in the "real world" (outside my box, that's what I mean ) that have interests both in Math (which it's one of the biggest passions in my life, although it's a big cliché to say that ) and in writing. I mean, I want to work in something Math-related for the rest of my life, but the writing thing… I do it in a very "amateur" way, because it gives me the opportunity to express my feelings without saying anything and without making anyone else feel bored with my troubles…

So I feel we certainly have many things in common.. What do you do for living, Eleanor? You know that tomorrow I start my studies in First Year of Civil Engineering in the University of Concepción (I'm kind of nervous, because they have this weird ritual of initiation called the "mechoneo", where the new students – the "mechones" receive lots of water and smelly things in their poor bodies… ). Are you a student like me? Or do you work? And what are your writings about? Don't feel afraid to open up your mind… And please don't take it the wrong way that I'm insterested in your life. It's just that I've discovered that this kind of contact with foreign people can really help you to find "another kinds of minds" out there, and "maybe I'm amazed" at the lots of common interests I share with them.

Side by side, hand in hand; we all stand together.
