Hmmm... I'd say that's pretty impressive for 'just a band' as Lennon called themselves

In 1964, comedian Alan Sherman did a song to the tune of "Pop Goes the Weasel" that he "hates the Beatles" because his Beatle crazy daughter has him in the poorhouse buying Beatle records and other cool Beatle related material. It's very funny.

And who could forget "All I Want for Christmas is a Beatle?" Thanks for the list! It rocks! (Those Beatle haircut songs are so adorable).

I didn't see the song 'She's got a butt bigger than the Beatles' by Cletus T Judd on there.... thats not a very nice song..

Yeah, I've heard both and frankly I suspect it's actually Lenin but when I look up the lyrics, it's always Lennon. I've also read reference that the "quartet" is The Beatles.

There's a Lennon reference in the David Bowie song 'Life on Mars':

"Now the workers have struck for fame,
Cos Lennon's on sale again."

I think he's referring to the Lennon single 'Working Class Hero'.
