I love books about the Beatles. Mark Lewisohn's book about them is the Platinum Standard.
Lou Harrison's book is one of those feel good books. Her maternal uncles look a lot like her fine brother George! He's a little French boy, all right! He looked a lot like those 4 fine French Brothers.

it wasnt a date he brought a friend along with him. at the end i told him i was interested and he told me he's not ready for any relationships. meh

Because of the warm weather my Dad could come stay with us over the holidays! Usually it's too bad road conditions to be out in, snow and ice and sleet, but this year it was more like autumn than winter so the roads were clear. Lots of people complained about a green xmas but not me!

Happy one year anniversary since anyone posted, thread. Here's some news that made me laugh.
In Gothenburg, Sweden, the municipality is getting very tired of all the cigarette butts on squares around town. About 75% of all garbage collected from the streets is cigarette butts. So they have started a campaign. Part of which is putting up these huge signs with attached ashtray and the message: "Please put out cigs in the ash tray. The pigeons are trying to stop smoking!"
