I actually hadnt watched Monsters Inc in years and I was reminded how funny it was. It'll be interesting to see where they go with the prequel

Super 8........ Great movie. Loved listening to the music of the 70's and 80's.

Green Lantern..........Excellent movie. Acting was great......Special effects were awesome........ Left with an opening for a sequel......... Well worth watching.
Heck.....Even the wifey liked it and she's not a comic book fan.

Cars 2. And it was decent entertainment. Certainly not the best work Pixar has done, but definitely not deserving of the terrible reviews its getting

Cars 2..........not as good as the first but still pretty entertaining. The younger crowd (the kiddies) will love it.

The Beatles Live 1964........... Had this in a VHS tape and started copying tapes to DVD and forgot I had it. Great little 20 minute music tape. Now that I've transferred it to DVD, I'll be able to watch it more often without the worry of the tape breaking.

The Shining (1997)
It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't all that scary. I think Kubrick's version had more of an impact.

Oh yeah. It was a TV mini-series. It was created by Stephen King to rectify his dissatisfaction with the Kubrick version.

Mr. Poppers Penguins......... It's one of the Jim Carey movies I actually enjoyed. There were only 2 times where he acted like a complete buffoon (unlike most of his movies where it's 90% of the time).

A double header tonight. First up.... "Insidious".....Very scarey movie. Scared the bejeezus out of me and wifey. Best part is, the way it ended left it open for a sequel (YAY).
Second movie was a classic....The original version of "The Taking Of Pelham 1-2-3". Walter Matthau, Martin Balsam, Roy Scheider. Just freakin' awesome.
