Default Beatles On The Radio!

I call a request some Beatles songs on my local Oldies station, lilsamharrison, you should know what it is. They only they some #1 hits, none like I Am The Walrus, Revolution, or any of the good stuff.

Then you're listening to the wrong oldies station. The one here plays those songs as well as "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Don't Let Me Down", "Do You Want To Know A Secret" and many others that were not #1 or released as singles.

also 97.1 (The Drive?) plays an interesting
selection of oldies music...for instance,if
they play a Beatles song, it is usually one
that hasn't gotten a lot of airplay, like
"Lovely Rita"...

We finally FINALLY got a classic rock station! They even have a Beatle Break each day and play a song, complete with facts. The songs aren't just the #1's either, so it's great!

They don't play any Beatles music much on the radio near me. The other day in the car I heard "Blackbird"... but it was the remake.

Last night "Another Day" and "My Sweet Lord" were on the radio. Those Beatles are everywhere these days, anyone would think they were the best group ever...oh that's right, they are!

In Massachusetts theres 102.1. Which plays classic rock. They only do stuff from The white album, Abbey Road, and Let it be. However, this morning I woke up to "My Sweet Lord" It was great!

My oldies station plays Beatles a lot, but they play the same darn songs over and over! Usually "P.S. I Love You" or "Eight Days a Week".
