..by the way, in Jogjakarta there's a radio station called 'Yasika FM' that have a Beatlemania program...

They play The Beatles' songs from 5 to 6 o'clock in the morning, evryday, Monday to Saturday...but they rarely play Beatles' solo songs ...seems like they don't have the collection, I guess...

..but that's more than enough for me...the songs help me to stay awake while I'm doing my homeworks...

And it feels different to hear them by the radio, you know...it's like a kind of surprise for me...enjoying to guess the next song they'll play...

105.5 here in Boston plays a great variety of Beatles songs. They had a block weekend and played "Ticket To Ride", "No Reply", "And Your Bird Can Sing", and the medley from "Sun King" to "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" in one block.

They also that night played a live Santana call-in show and the full album of Led Zeppelin II.

In Chicago Magic 104.3 will play Beatles songs, but mostly their #1 songs, etc. 97.1 will play a lot more of their non-single tracks. 93.1 has Breakfast with the Beatles from 9-11 on Sunday mornings. (Oh, and, on that show this coming Sunday they're going to play Paul's entire new CD instead of the usual Beatles fare, if anyone's interested).

The last Beatles song I heard on the radio was...... oh, "Love Me Do" this morning.

They play "It Don't Come Easy" all the time on my radio station (oldies 97.3 KBSG). Other than that, they usually play the early Beatle songs, and very few cool ones from 67-69 are played. I requested Blackbird last ngiht and they said they didn't have it (and thier motto is they have every oldie in thier vault! Ha.)

In the past week Oldies 95.7 played "Something", "A Day In The Life", "Ticket To Ride", "Come Together", "Eleanor Rigby", "P.S. I Love You", "Day Tripper" and I'm sure there were plenty more. Those were the ones I remembered hearing while driving to work and back home.

The Oldies stations around here,WOMC and CIDR do play on occasion Beatles, but seem to mainly play Motown (not unreasonable for the area).

I'm very fortunate to hear the Beatles on the radio every day! It's mostly on the local oldies station. Just today, I've heard "All My Loving," "Penny Lane," "I Saw Her Standing There," "Hello, Goodbye," "From Me to You," "Love Me Do," "Hey Jude," and probably a few others that I don't remember!

I like it when the classic rock station here plays the Beatles better, though, because they play stuff you don't hear every day like "She Said, She Said," "Across the Universe," and the acoustic version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (which, IMO, is better than the version that actually ended up on the White Album !

If you don't get your daily Fab Four fix on your local radio stations, that means it's time to resort to your trusty CD collection...

The Classic Rock station here plays the Beatles all the time. But they have a special liking for Back in The USSR. The USSR doesn't even exist anymore.
