Has anyone ever attended any of the 2nd generation's concert or even met them? If so who? Sean and Julian are OK. I have never heard Dhani or James sing? I have heard Zac is an excellent drummer. I wish them all the best.

I saw Zak playing drums with Ringo in 1992, James McCartney live at King Tuts in Glasgow March 2010 (even managed to get a signed set list from him) and just last night I saw Sean Lennon and his band (The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger) at Broadcast in Glasgow.
Zak's a great drummer - taught by the legendary Keith Moon, of course, and am thinking of catching the upcoming 50th Anniversary tour dates from The Who with whom he currently plays because I like The Who too.
James was okay live but not very enthusiastic. He mumbled his way through the song intros and didn't really seem to be giving it 100%. Maybe that's his style but I got the feeling he didn't want to be onstage (that night anyway).
Sean's band last night were great! Lots of enthusiasm, great songs and really jokey and chatty in between songs. I'd definately go and see them again and the new album isn't bad either.
I'd really like to see Dhani's band (Thenewno2), but they very rarely play the UK and when they do it's usually London for one of two nights. Still fingers crossed, eh?

Edit: As someone who was actually at this gig, the article is misleading as there was no booing from the audience but a couple of people who shouted "Yes". Still, who am I to get in the way of a sensationalist headline and a story of half truths?
