"With the Beatles" and AHDN are wonderful albums to play on road trips

I'm so lucky I "found" the Beatles. A MAJOR chunk of my life would be missing without them.

Thought of two more.

1. The thing I miss most about my childhood is collecting beatles albums. There's nothing like hearing a Beatles album for the first time.

2. I AM THE WALRUS RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of Paul's basslines are phenomenal.

I get upset when people say Ringo is not a good drummer.

George Harrison had the most intense eyes I have ever seen. That was a trait he had his entire life. I like that. I think George was an intense kind of man.

Everytime I watch the "Hello Goodbye" I am nearly laughing my pants off at the ending. It's just so random. Ringo tapping the bass drum with the drumstick....Paul and John doing some weird freak twist....George doing a little striptease....

Ok. Who just ran away to go watch it?

That and Bad to Me, I think they could've had some greats hits with those two early on.

does anyone else wonder why cancer has touched so many in beatle circles? or is that just "normal"?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would guess this is pretty normal actually. It seems like there are so many suffering and dying of cancer. It's really tragic. I've watched many in my own family, it scares me enough to take whatever precautions I can to take care of myself. Seeing what my grandmother went through in her last week of life was the most difficult thing I have ever had to watch. It's a horrible horrible disease, that unfortunately seems to attack way too many people. But then this is just my opinion from what I see around me, I don't have any facts or statistics to back it up...anyway enough of my depressing rant.

I'm sure you all can indentify with this, but when I am walking through a department store or some other public venue, it's like my ears are tuned to pick up on Beatles songs immediately. It can be playing really quietly and I will hear it. The people I'm with will not even notice music is playing, lol. You all have to know what I mean, I'm sure I'm not the only one here.

[/ QUOTE ]

oh yeah, i've had that happen! it's like our brains
have developed some sort of ability to "tune in" to
beatles frequency radio, even if it's barely audible!

Probably Cloud9. We all know she has visions of George dressed in only his natural charm and a smile.

When I was a little girl, I thought the Beatles' hair was beautiful. I thought George was so adorable when he sat on the couch with Ahme during "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" in "Help!" When I was a little girl, I wanted to play with and brush George's hair. I wanted to sit on the couch with him and touch his beautiful wavy hair.
