i'm a gourmand, not really a gourmet.
my favorite treat, in the middle of the night is a baked croissant sandwich with horseradish, pickled ginger, lettuce, balsamic vinegar, three kinds of cheese, two kinds of pepper (a green and a red one) and a little bit of brown mustard!
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Hey gang! For all my fellow "chili-heads" (you know who you are: You think that Tobasco tastes about as hot as ketchup and the "hot" sauces that you find in the supermarket just AIN'T NOWHERE NEAR hot enough!!), check out this cool (or is that "SCORCHIN' HOT"??!!) website that sells some of the hottest sauces in the known universe: www.firegirl.com

Tell 'em Jai Guru Dave sent ya!!

I love chili without tabasco sauce (most of my relatives like it so hot you have to call 911), veggie chili, chili with a tofu base, delicious enchiladas, just about all fruits.

I could live on fruit and be happy. Although I am not a vegetarian, I really think I could become one. I like just about all vegetables. Delicious -- steamed cabbage served with some tasty steamed carrots -- YUMMY! Spinach -- I love it! Broccoli is EXCELLENT! I LOVE broccoli! It's really good if you cook it with garlic, steam it and serve it on a bed of cabbage. Yum city!

Another really tasty dish is lasagna. I love it. It's really good if you add some delicious black olives and cook with rosemary. Yummee!

The wheat breads and the grain breads, 9, 7 and 12 grain breads French and Italian bread and just about any Mexican or Italian dish!

I love liver and my "unfried" chicken. You skin the chicken and coat it with ground corn flakes, garlic and other delicious Italian seasoning and stick in the oven. You bake or broil it and trust me, it tastes just like fried chicken, only it ain't greasy and it ain't fried. It is really good and I've made it many times. Trust me when I say it is good.

For folks who, like me, love smoothies, I make my own. No sugar in anything I make! You blend your fruits of choice with milk and crushed ice and you will think your tastebuds have died and gone to heaven. Plucots, the hybrid plum and apricot are really good. They look like plums, but have apricot color and taste like pllums with a twist. I love them. Cherries -- yummeeee! Just mix any fruits with milk and crushed ice and you have a smoothie people go out to spend big bucks for that ain't half as tasty, IMHO. If you want a tropical blast, blend up grapes with cantaloupe and throw in a banana for good measure. If you just want something sweet, use a banana and any other fruits of your choice. Boy, kinda makes you hungry just thinking about it.

Wow, a sure horde of people love chocolate. So do I, but I also love ice cream (especially vanilla! ) I love spinach, falafel, brie cheese, potatoes, tomatoes, cukes, spaghetti, bananas, and much, much more! What I hate the most is cheese-flavored things, or basically anything cheesy (except pizza--but I hate pizza-hut).

Ooh, except for the meaty things, this list sounds yummy to me! I love broccoli!! Whole Foods stuff is great...the eggless salad is wonderful on a whole wheat bun with lots of lettuce and ripe good quality tomatoes! And the twice baked potatoes are so good, too.
My favorite foods are things made with basil. Like this wonderful broccoli soup we make with lots of basil.
