Yes, but he's got a product to promote. I'll still be looking forward to seeing it.

Damn! I was hoping he'd do Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five!!!

Or Let Me Roll It!!! BOTR is amazing! I'll probably skip "Jet" though lol. I hope Paul is involved in a sketch!

Me too: I think Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five is one of the three best songs on the album: the others being Mamunia & Helen Wheels. Especially love Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five from Paul's documentary One Hand Clapping. Love love love that Macca!

There was a teaser that featured "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five." I saw it through Paul's FB page, so I don't know whether it aired on TV, on SNL's site or whatever. I didn't stay up to watch (bad Beatles fan), but will watch on Hulu whenever I can find the time. I see Paul was on the Weekend Update in addition to performing BOTR and Jet.

Well considering the audience Paul was playing to, he'd probably want to do "common denominator" songs that most people would know. I do agree that there are other choices in that category though. I fell asleep for parts of it but I was also aware that he did Day in the Life/Give Peace a Chance and Get Back

I was so thrilled that Paul got really involved with the sketches! He wasn't just "musical guest Paul McCartney" he was almost like Paul Rudd's co-host!

When he showed up on the digital short I was just howling with laughter!

A Day In The Life/Give Peace A Chance was a lovely tribute to John!

Paul was great on SNL, he seemed again, pretty relaxed!

My favorite part was definitely "walking is the motion, walking is the motion" followed by the tiny harmonica solo! It was such a great surprise!

I was a bit shocked by how bad Paul's voice sounded on SNL. I thought, "Wow, he sounds old!" But his voice was stronger the next week at the Apollo. I think it's time for our Paul to call it a day on these big tours. JMHO

I was surprised there no references to the "1976 Beatles Reunion" on the episode.
