Re: Favourite Beatles songs
It's practically impossible to narrow this down to only five. I tried doing this with a friend a month ago and could only get down to 20 and I can't put them in order either, but I'll try!
These are the ones consistently in my favorite list, for varying reasons,
1. She said, She said
2. Rain
3. The Night Before
4. Norweign Wood
5. Don't Bother me
I feel bad not mentioning my others, like Ticket to Ride, Another girl, And your Bird can sing, Real Love, Revolution, Strawberry fields, Walrus, I've got a feeling, Dr. Robert, There's a place, While my guitar, For no one, Taxman, Martha my dear, Octopus', Think for yourself, Paperback Writer... and oh! This is too hard!

AAARRGH! This is nervewracking, trying to decide!
1 Drive My Car
2 Glass Onion
3 Back in the U.S.S.R.
4 Hey Bulldog
5 Seargent Pepper (reprise)
I think that might be correct....

Re: Favourite Beatles songs
Oh my, this is so HARD! I spent forever trying to think of only 5 favourite songs. And I'm still not sure they're the ones...
Well - Here's my list at the moment:
1] While My Guitar Gently Weeps
2] Things We Said Today
3] Something
4] Hey Jude
5] I Want You

What else should we do?"

Re: Favourite Beatles songs
My response only applies to lately, and I can't put them in any particular order: I'M ONLY SLEEPING,JULIA,WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS,ACROSS THE UNIVERSE,IT WON'T BE LONG,DEAR ONE,BEAUTIFUL GIRL. I only know that no day seems right if I haven't heard one or all these songs sometime in the course of 24 hours. And I'll listen to Ms. O'Dell just to hear George laugh.

Re: Favourite Beatles songs
I have already changed my list! I thought the first one I gave was pretty solid, but I can't keep Paperback Writer and Taxman out any longer. It's way to hard to pick only 5. Maybe 20?

Re: Favourite Beatles songs
ONLY 5? ONLY 5?! It's impossible to stop after only 5!
She Loves You
Please Please Me
All My Loving
Can't Buy Me Love
Things We Said Today
Boy, that was tough! How about our top 20+ instead?

Then we will remember things we said today. Yeah.

That was *so* hard to think of just five! All their songs are great! I also like "Something" but I ran out of room... and "I am the Walrus"... and... ok, I'll stop here before I get too carried away.
