Question Ticket Sullivan Feb 16 1964 Deauville Hotel

To start with, I apoligize if I'm doing this wrong. I've never posted to one of these before. And, hey, ya'll!

I'm referenceing a ticket stubb to the Ed Sullivan Dress Rehearsal Feb 16 1964. I saw on a website of Beatles Rarities that "Only one known ticket stub has surfaced thus far and it is for the dress rehearsal at 2:30pm on February 16th" 1964 Ed Sullivan show. A friend of mine has brought me a bit of his 1960s memorobilia (mostly stuff of interest only to him) and asked me to help value it for him so he can sell them. One of these ticket stubbs is among the items. It looks just like the one pictured, for the 2:30 dress rehearsal, only somewhat less of it is torn off than the one pictured on rarebeatles. He has it taped to a page of paper, and on the paper he wrote the note "I saw the Beatles LIVE at Ed Sullivan's show!" I asked him about it, to be sure it is authentic, and he tells me it surely is, he attended the show. His mom got him the ticket.

Anyway, I'm not a silly person thinking thinking I have a billion dollar item in hand, but I would like an honest assessment of what it might be worth, and what venue best to sell it.

Any advice you might give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

You've got the right forum. If you have what you say you have, then it's obviously extremely rare. And I'm sure you could get a ton of money for it. Beatles tickets are one of those specialty items that people lay down the cash for.

My short answer would be... Sell it through Perry Cox on eBay. Something that valuable would only get the right price if it's sold by a verified Beatles expert with tons of feedback, and he's the guy.

Do you have any other ideas, too? Thanks for your input!
