Default Horse To The Water - A brilliant sign off!

What a great way to leave this world!! A beautiful song! You can take a horse to the water but you can't make it drink, George being as honest as ever a cracking tune as well. One last slide solo too. Cheers George, it was grand knowing you...

'Horse To the Water' is a truly amazing song, and Jools Holland really does add that extra special touch with his phenomenal piano playing :)

I couldn't have said it better, Harb. It is the kind of song you might expect to hear in some churches. It is a wonderful, gospel-style rocker that makes you feel just plain good!

I thought Sam Brown's version at CFG was absolutely amazing, actually I almost prefer her version.

I bought that Jools Holland the day it came out. I was so happy to have one last bit of George. It's a great song but the Sam Brown version kicks ash! When she rips her hat off on starts wailing. Brilliant! More Sam Brown please!

As much as I love the released track on Jools' album and also the CFG performance by the ever charming Sam Brown (I've seen her in concert twice...she is amazing) I very much would like to hear the demo made by George and Dhani, without the Jools musicians.

... t'would be nice, yes...

But you'll never get me off the "official" version, as one of it's aspects that I enjoy best, is that well "muscled" piano/horns intro !

Oh yes, that would be wonderful to hear

I must say Sam Brown's version was absolutey brilliant, but I do prefer George's. Great sign off I agree, and so special to hear when it was released.

To play this song again after quite some time is a delight.

It has such great power by the piano and horns sound of the Jools Holland band and then George comes in, in this last recording he made, a song written together with Dhani... who knows there may be some more on the shelves at the Friar Park Studio at Henley-on-Thames....

Great song...mm...haven't seen Beatlemad in a while, I hope he ain't sitting somewhere in a 'room' being mad ......
