Default Let it Be

Does anyone know why "Let it Be" (movie) has not been re-released on DVD yet? Or, if it is planned to be released soon?
Thanks,
Kama

I haven't heard any word as to when it will be re-released. Does anyone have some possible news?

You'd have to be online for about eight weeks in order to get fifteen minutes of that one.

I was at the swap meet last weekend, and I saw Let It Be on DVD for the first time. It was a bootleg video of course, but I'm sure they got it from the master tapes. They also had a DVD of all the Ed Sullivan shows. Really nice stuff. But it was something like $80, so I'll just be happy with my VHS tapes for now.

I read somewhere that it wasn't out because George didn't like it; it was painful to watch. But since he's passed on now (sadly), who knows.

The video (and DVD) are frequently on ebay. The VHS is also at Amazon for a lot last time I checked ($40 or so)

It was released on DVD in Japan or somewhere like that. That's what's always on Ebay for about $100 opening bid.
