Default International Weekend of Protest

As it is an international Weekend of Protest, I encourage each and every one of you to be part of this international movement for peace... There is NO excuse for war and hatred... We are all brothers and sisters, with the golden essential thread of love, humanity and beauty that unites us all under this eternity of sky... NOBODY has ANY right to pollute our world with darkness, violence and hatred, and to wage a bitter, disgusting, unjust and insane war whose victims will be innocent people.

As Beatle-people, we all believe that 'All you need is love' and to 'Give peace a chance'... for the spirit of John and George, and all they believed in and enlightened the world with, please, let your voices be heard, show 'our leaders' that we will have nothing to do with something so disgusting and inhumane.

Yesterday was Valentines Day here in Melbourne... and a very fitting date for the first of a whole host of international anti-war rallies... A crowd of over 150,000 brought the city to a standstill - a crowd so diverse, yet united under the banners of Peace, Love and human compassion. At one point, the crowd began to sing "All we are saying is give peace a chance..." - I was, in all honesty, on the verge of tears. not only with the passion and emotion of the day, but standing there, among the banners and peace signs, the Hare Krsna's chanting "Hare Om", I thought of John and George, looking down and smiling upon this peaceful crowd... I have no doubt that they were both there n spirit.

Make LOVE, not WAR!

Hare Om!

I live in Ottawa, and only about 2,500 people showed for the protest. It was -30 outside, freezing!!! I think people were expecting a little bit more support here...

I wish I was in Montréal because they had over 100,000 people show up for the protest! I believe it was the largest crowd in Canada.

It feels good to know there are others out there that believe in peace. There may be hope for the world yet...

Hi our protest here in Los Angeles brought out about 150,000 people, no where the amount of London or NY...But it was awesome to see so many supporters just the same! Even the celebrities came out to show their support!

Here is a link for the exact numbers & photos/articles from the march/rallys all over the globe:
