You know your obsessed with the beatles when, you read your children pages of "Anthology" before bed as opposed to bedtime stories.

You think any child who has not heard Yellow Submarine, Obla Di Obla Da, and Octopusses Garden at least once has been robbed of a proper childhood.

You often say things like "Ya know that reminds me of how the beatles...."

Is this obsession? Today I was working at the computer (I work at home) and I had Sgt. Pepper on the cd player,. When it came to Lovely Rita, I was sorta pulled from my chair and just had to turn it up LOUD and I danced around the living room through the rest of the album. Is my sanity going? I was home alone, and not on any mind-altering substances, and I'm not a kid, I'm in my 50's. I worry sometimes----

I dance around in the kitchen to "You're Mother Should Know". So no, you're not crazy.

I dance to Beatles' songs all the time! Lots of the songs, like you said, just pull you from your chair. Personally, I think anyone who DOESN'T want to dance when they hear a Beatles song has something wrong with them...

I don't trust people who bad-mouth The Beatles.

I agree; it's ok when people have listened, and decided it's not for them; what is irritating is when they do it out of some sort of reverse snobbery--'oh, they're popular so I won't like them; that makes me hip and different.'

Hey, where did you get your Beatles drum head logo sticker from? I've been able to find only a "Sgt. Pepper's" drum head logo sticker online... which is cool, of course. But, the black logo will look simply smashing on my black Mini.
