Thumbs up George and Haley Mills

On a few websites, I read that back in the 60's, George briefly escorted fellow Brit and Disney star Haley to various events .
According to one site, Haley won an auction contest in which one of the prizes was a date with a Beatle. Talk about the envy of every teen girl of that era! Her mom approved of him as an escort too. I think Haley was around 16 or 17 then. Cute pics.

I think she went on chaperoned dates, considering how young she was. For the most part the Beatles did seem like respectful, decent guys, but you are right, they had to be careful. Even Patti and George's 1st date was chaperoned by Brian. I was a bit shocked since both were legal adults, but it makes sense. He was a protective big brother to them. They look so heartbroken upon learning of his death. It seemed like Ringo and George were fighting back tears. Maybe Paul was too upset to talk.

Also, public figures have to be careful of blackmail schemes.

I had a relative who was a sports doctor for the NBA. The relative was always counseling players not to invite women up to their rooms or go out without the team because there have been many cases where people have claimed assault when none took place and then blackmailed the public figure, in this case sports pros. The relative had a horror story about one basketball player who went out on a date and he and his date went to his place. Two days later the man was being charged with rape. Unfortunately, there are real claims. It is also unfortunate if people use this very serious charge to blackmail somebody. Perhaps Brian feared such a scene or more children of Beatles being publicly reported in the news.

Yes there are devious women who prey on celebrities for money. I have heard stories of police finding groupies in their hotel rooms. I sure it happened to other bands too. In the Youtube video on their visit to Minnesota, there was a curfew placed on underage girls hanging around their motel after 10 I think.

In one video, a reporter interviewed a young teen in California who was sporting a bikini while waiting to get a glimpse of the Beatles in 1964, when they arrived for a private charity event. I'm like Good grief girl get some respect for yourself! Getting back to Haley, I don't know much about her, but she seemed like a decent girl, I think she became friends with all 4 members.

According to Bob Spitz's book, in Vegas Lennon was caught with two fourteen year old twins in his room when they're mother came looking for them. The press agent had to get woken up and came up with the story the girls fell asleep after John signed autographs and told them funny stories.

I believe him, don't you? (Don't get it though. teen girls are evil)

Haley looked like a wholesome young teenager, she was probably good for the Beatles image, since many parents thought the Beatles were long haired creepy guys when they first started making it big all over the world.

I hope John nor any of the Beatles were into underage girls. If the girls lied about their age, then that's another story. I hope the mom read her wayward daughters the riot act once they got home. I also hope John was not set up. Poor Brian, he did not have an easy time.

Some of the moms wanted to shag and bag a Beatle. There were hornbags of all ages.

Jayne Mansfield was a lecherous hornbag, feeling George up in Florida the summer of 1964. She took hornbaggery to a whole new level.

Not all hornbags are teen girls. There were many gay and bisexual men who found the Fabs sexy, but I don't think any of them hit on a Beatle as it was plain the Beatles were not gay.

Ringo's wife Maureen was only 16 when she started to date him. He was in his early 20s.

When John went out on his lost weekend with May Pang, it was discussed by him and Yoko whether he should date a girl or a guy (and there was a guy in mind but I forgot his name).

Gee Whiz, Misfittoy, are you hinting John was bi-curious? I know he was tolerant of alternative lifestyles considering their fans and Brian. That is shocking.

Hi Beatlebangs,
Wow you know your Beatle stuff. Did George ever state Jane Mansfield felt him up? I think she was born in the 30's, making her around his sister's age. Where did you read that? I'm sure there were moms wanting to make the group their boytoys. There are mature women after Justin Beiber. Somethings never change. Grown men lusted after Annette Funicello of Mickey Mouse Club fame. Thank goodness Walt and her mom were protective of her. Maybe someone can help me, I recall in the 90's on Geraldo, he had the Motown legends on, and he asked one of the female songwriters/singers I think it was Jan Bradley who wrote "Momma Didn't Lie" about being honored the Beatles covered some of her songs. She replied," I was happy, I wouldn't have minded if they covered my", then another singer covered her mouth. I think she wanted to say something racy. That was funny.

I'm hinting that John was bi. I'm not alone in that. and what I was saying about a suggestion of a male partner by Yoko has been quoted many times. His name was DAvid something and he knew both of them.

the jane mansfield story is a legend. The beatles went with her to a club and the crowd got out of hand. THey stopped going out in public together and spoke of the night they went out with Jane Mansfield as why.

Here's two articles relating to the Fab Four/ Jane Mansfield gathering and infamous water throwing picture by an angry George.

Was Jayne married to Mickey at the time she fondled John and George? Regardless that was pretty freaky on her part. They were probably used to it by that time. Her demise is also tragic. I read she was also into devil worship, I read that in the tabloids, so who knows if that is valid. I watch Law & Order sometimes, her daughter Mariska is a good actress. She does favor her mom a little bit.

In Anthology, George said that Jayne was trying to cop a feel through his trousers and ran her hand up and down his leg. He stopped her before she reached her destination.

I know George was sexy and had beautiful wavy hair and a great body, but you just don't go around feeling people up. Poor George probably felt he was being propositioned and that he was being viewed as a sex object instead of a real person with real wavy hair and real feelings. Yeah, we talk about the man's sex appeal, but talking about it and having fun joking around on the boards is one thing. Had any of us met George, rest assured I don't think we'd go out there acting a fool and trying to feel the man up. That is just not acceptable.

Hi Beatlebangs, I totally agree, if I was a young person back then and had a slim chance to speak and meet them, I would never act like that. I'm sure George lost a lot of respect for her. That also goes for male celebrities today. I would only shake their hand or ask for an autograph. Sometimes women have double standards too. I once saw a female employee playfully slap her male co-worker on the butt at a gardening store a few years ago if that was reverse, a lawsuit would have happened. Men have morals and feelings too.

I think she was a member of the Church of Satan created by Anton LeVeigh.

I saw pictures in the tabloid of her kneeling drinking out a cup held by that wacko Anton. I don't want to think what it was she might have been drinking knowing that sick group, YUCK! George had good sense to stay away from her. What was wrong with Jayne hanging with that weirdo and his cult?

When I learned that Jayne was a member of that ***** church, she TERRIFIED me! I want no part of that sort of thing and when I learned that about her in a biography a few years ago, I steered as clear of anything she was in. Anton was a sick and evil person and Susan Atkins, a Charlie Manson girl was part of Anton's evil cadre of crackpots. People like that SCARE me! Anton's kids have sick names reflecting his evil ideology. I am sorry that sick organization is still in business and even sorrier that people buy into that evil shit, sorry.

I think Jayne died in a car crash in 1967. My very wise uncle warned that letting oneself be deceived by s**** was not only dangerous, but almost a guarantee of death.

For people who follow that path seeking earthly power, the real power comes from what is good. God is my choice. Good is the way for me.
