Default Out There Tour Surprises *SPOILER ALERT*

Looks like we can cross off some more song titles on that list of live performance premiers. Some real surprises on this tour. Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite? I'm still holding out hope for Martha My Dear.

I'm waiting for Oh! Darling... it's not on any of the set lists that I've seen, but I'm hoping that changes by the time he comes to Cali later this summer.

Yep, that's 3 more to cross off the list. Here's that other topic...

Evidently Eight Days a Week is also being performed.

I'm surprised to hear he's doing Mr. Kite. I prob wont be able to see him this time around but I'd be very interested to hear how that one is.

I'm flummoxed by this selection. This isn't part of a tribute set. I'm not objecting to his performance of John's songs. Nobody else is more entitled to do them. His name is on them. But it seemed to be apparent from the beginning of his post Beatles touring that Paul would only do Paul songs. I wonder what kind of self reconciling he's gone through that now he's going to go into John's work.

I also think it's a bit of a weird choice, but maybe it is part of a tribute section? He performs it right before Something, apparently. He also does Day Tripper, which according to John was mostly a John song but according to Paul was 50/50... in any case, it's not a Paul song.

Still, Kite is a perplexing choice. Only thing I can think of is that his voice needs a rest at that point during the show, because I would assume it's not that difficult to sing.

I'm hoping for "Things We Said Today" and "I've Got a Feeling."

I always thought Day Tripper was John's as well. Because it was the other side of We Can Work it Out. I always just thought that they shared those singles w Paul generally being Mr A-Side while John was Mr B-Side (w obvious exceptions). Like I said, I am liking Paul delving into John's catalog. Bring on Revolution.

"Eight Days A Week" is a 'John' song too, for the most part anyways.. Interesting selection to be sure, and it may change by the time he gets to these parts (in my case, Milwaukee). My favorite Macca song is "Junior's Farm" so I'm hoping that sticks.
