Christmas CDs from \"The Fab Four\"
http://abbeyrd.best.vwh.net/fabnews.htm
Anyway, many Beatle-folks this holiday season might be flipping thru the Christmas section of their local music store and think they've come across a new holiday collection from our favorite Liverpudlians. Wrong! But the packaging is quite good.....
The Beatles tribute band, TheFabFour, has released TWO different CDs on Delta/LaserLight full of holiday songs that are very reminiscent of early Beatle tunes...right down to the melody lines, guitar licks and the "familiar" harmonies. The CDs, "A FabFour Christmas" with a cover duplicating the "1" cover and "Have Yourself a FAB-ulous Little Christmas" with a cover jesting "Abbey Road," are available for $5-$6 each, depending on your retailer. See the covers here www.thefabfour.net/christmas_cd.htm
These are kinda fun, but definitely for the completists out there. At five bucks a crack, they could be "fab" stocking stuffers for the Beatle-nut in your family.
There are available on amazon.com.

So they make the Christmas songs sound as if the early Beatles recorded them? Sounds kinda cool, but I would have to hear what that sounded like.

Here's one site that has two songs you can listen to.
Project Playlist
I found "Jingle Bells", to the tune of "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" done to the music of "Help!"
This sound give you some idea as to what they sound like.

They are very well done--some better than others. Recommended, and I hate Beatle cover/soundalike bands.
