Re: One more question What about Yoko?
How can you judge someone you have never met? Do you hang with Yoko in her private life and see her do the things mentioned above? Just because things have been said, doesn't mean they are true. If something is said in a magazine, do you believe it? Especially when the press twists what is said to make the story interesting and to make money. Why do people have to look at the bad things and not look at the good things? Nobody is perfect. Things happen and people change. As for Cynthia, how can you NOT like her? She was John's first love. She gave John his first son. She seems so caring and is always saying nothing but nice things about John.

John would've frightened the hell out of me too in some cases.. he really wasn't a happy camper... but really is any great legend all that happy??

Re: One more question What about Yoko?
lol col! as for the main story, i'm getting most of my info from john's biographies - namely "lennon" by ray coleman. so colin, if you think that i've got the facts wrong, it's just because mr. coleman does. did that sound snobbish? sorry if it did, i didn't mean it to.

Re: One more question What about Yoko?
I was just pretty annoyed with his/her's/its misquotes regarding cynthia lennon, when it obviously didn't watch the TV programme. All she spoke about was her time in art college with john, loving john, all but one little bit she said about how yoko was particularly mean to her......which was true - don't be afraid of the truth just because you don't like it. Anyway, I'm bored with this.
How banal to pick bones with Cynthia Lennon.
Eppy,
That's a good book mate!

I totally agree with what you're saying here.
You never know if what you are reading is true or not.
I personally don't have all that much time for Yoko myself but John loved her so much that I do have some sort of respect for her because of that.
There must be something about her that is good for such a wonderful person to have such intense feelings for her. That's what I try and tell myself anyway!

LenMac, so we stop this Cynthia discussion because appearantly it strikes you. Checking every quote - also from books - I leave to others.
I wonder how Harbidge feels about the lung.

That is sick. Leave Yoko alone-if anyone did their best to kill the Beates it was Klein.Yoko is in no way evil or malevolent. If Yoko didn't make go to the sessions, the last LP woulda been MMT. John did not want to be at the White Album,Get Back or Abbey road sessions-only way he'd show up is if Yoko was there.

Re: One more question What about Yoko?
Yoko is not evil. Evil is the thing that killed John. Come on, don't even try and put Yoko on that level. She is a person who married a Beatle. She is a different race, she isn't a beauty queen, she does things that not many people would have the guts to do. And you wonder why so many people dislike her? If the Yoko and John marriage and the Beatles had happened in the 90s, no one would even think about Yoko and call her "evilness". They needed someone to blame for the Beatles breakup, so guess what, since Yoko was there they blamed her. Linda was also blamed as well, but do you see anyone here saying bad stuff about her? No. It's 'cause she wasn't very public like Yoko. She was white, and she didn't do off-of-the-wall type stuff. I applaud Yoko's unique antics. She desrves recognition, not bitterness.

Re: One more question What about Yoko?
I can't make all the people happy all the time. It's what I was brought up to beleve, are you saying that I have no right to beleve what I want? I live in the U.S.A and there happens to be a little thing called freedom of speech. But if I have made you mad I'm sorry, but I beleve what I beleve.
