Favourite David Bowie
An artist I've always liked but never really explored. So as a casual fan my fav Bowie songs are
Space Oddity
Jean Genie
Changes
Starman
Ashes To Ashes
Man Who Sold The World
Ziggy Stardust
Life On Mars?
Ashes To Ashes
Moonage Daydream
What an album that would make! 10 classics. All very well known tho. Any Bowie fans out there?

I'm a total "hits" fan when it comes to Bowie... because, like you, I never really explored his albums.
My faves are:
The Jean Genie
Rebel Rebel
Heroes
Starman
Space Oddity
Changes
Suffragette City
Ziggy Stardust
John, I'm Only Dancing
Young Americans
Golden Years
... basically, the "Changesbowie" compilation!

I love David's music for as long as I can remember
With no doubt, my favorite is "Lady Grinning Soul", probably for me the best ever song non-Beatlesque

I still need to get his best-of. But I like "Scary Monsters and Super Creeps" or whatever it's called.

My brother was a huge Bowie fan and I remember his favorite album was Diamond Dogs. I'm more a casual fan but those songs I do like I like a lot. Here's my faves (my bro would laugh at the short list):
Space Oddity
Changes
Life On Mars
Young Americans

I love David Bowie.
Did someone say ""Heroes"" was his last 'great' album?
Wow. "Low" and "Lodger" are at very least "great"
"Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)" is awesome. Cyrstallises, defines and blows away the 'new wave' on one poxy LP. That's Bowie.
I think "Diamomd Dogs" is his best. It's as good as "Abbey Road" is.
